sitting down at the table with some of tracy's friends with their lunch trays, tracy looks at tory and says, "so tell me about this brennan boy," while wiggling her eyebrows.
"ooo, who's brennan?" one of tracy's friends asks with a grin.
"addi, introduce yourself before you start asking her questions!" tracy says laughing
a girl with a summer tan, long brown hair, and hazel green eyes laughs and says, "oh, sorry! hi, i'm addison but my friends call me addi."
next to her, a blonde girl had her curls up in a ponytail and she was wearing black mascara that made her crystal blue eyes pop, "hi, i'm caroline! probably the most sane person here."
"okay, introductions have been made. now tell us who's brennan?" addi asked squealing with excitement.
before anyone else could get a word in a certain blond boy plops down in the empty seat next to victoria and looks at his sister, her friends and the new girl that he suddenly felt protective over. he stops looking around when his eyes land on tori, "so, about that boyfriend," he says with a small grin on his face.
"hey dingus!" addi said to him, "she was about to tell us about him before you oh so rudely interrupted her. now can it so she can talk!"
tori was a little shocked with the interaction that just happened but she brushed it off considering she lives in stars hallow, so that wasn't the strangest thing she had seen. once she saw kirk sun-bathing in the middle of town square.
"brennan is my," tori trails off thinking what exactly is brennan? she knows they have a so-called "thing" going on. they certainly are more than just friendly with each other, but brennan's never actually asked her out beside the whole homecoming thing. which is in exactly 26 days. not that she's counting or anything.
"he's my almost-boyfriend, but not actually my boyfriend yet but he's definitely not just a friend?" she says not completely sure of her answer.
the others aren't convinced with her answer either. tori looks at them with a half-smile when addi looks at her and says, "well that didn't sound very convincing.
tori laughs and says, "well he's asked me to homecoming and i said yes, but he never asked if i wanted to go out with him yet. so technically he's only my date to homecoming."
tracy and her friends share a look before she says, "well hun, looks like you got some work cut for ya. if you really like him you gotta tell him that before someone else does."

while tracy, caroline, and addi went to practice tristan decided to walk tori to the front of school so they could go home.
looking at tori, tristan says to her, "i'm gonna call you bird."
she raises her eyebrows, "i'm sorry, did you say bird?"
"yeah, bird," he says smiling.
she laughs and asks, "well may i ask why? why bird of all things."
