I skipped school the next couple of days and it was finally Saturday. During the week after and before school I would call Lucas and we talked for a bit but today was different. It was Saturday, so I wanted him to come over. But he wouldn't answer my calls or texts. I was getting worried so I called his parents
The phone rung and suddenly a women picked up, she sounded frail. 'H-hello?" She sniffed.
'Hello. this is Genevieve, is Lucas home?" I asked eagerly.
The woman started sobbing. "You didn't hear?" She said in between sobs. 'In the middle of the night last night," She wailed uncontrolably. "Lucas went missing! We can't find him and neither can the police!"
She started sobbing even more and hung up.
I threw my phone on the bed. I was so confused, it had all happened so quick. Was he okay? Was he....gone? I pulled my knees into my chest and hugged them. I started bawling uncontrolably, I didn't want to stop. I just wanted Lucas back.
My mother rushed to my room and asked what's wrong. I kept sobbing and sobbing. I told her what had happened but it didn't matter she couldn't make me feel better. I told her I wanted to be alone and she left very slowly, hesitating.
"LUCAS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" I sobbed and sobbed until I was so sore I couldn't take it so I just wailed without shedding any tears. I punched my pillow. Nothing in this world could make me feel better.
It was Saturday afternoon and I hadn't eaten all day, I didn't really care. I decided I would just take a walk in the park and take some time to think. I sat on the swings and swung slowly. This is not working! I thought to myself. I kicked a rock and started walking.
After I had been walking it had gotten cold and dark, and I was sore but I just ignore it. Suddenly I broke out in tears. I would've chosen a better place to have a mental break but I was standing next to the dumpster and couldn't hold it in. I sobbed and sobbed.
"Genevieve?" Said a weary voice.
My head jerked up and I saw someone covered in blood and in pain.
