India

The entire ride back to my place was silent. I didn't know what to say to Chris, and I could tell he was a bit annoyed with me. He slowly pulled up in front of my home after we rode another 15 minutes in silence. I looked for a , "See you later," or at least a hug or something but he continued looking ahead.

I didn't press the issue, I just got out and went inside. To an extent I could understand why he's angry, but he has to have an open mind about this situation. Possibly, if he would've told me ahead of time and given me the opportunity to think about this, I might've accepted it easier. I would've also had enough time to discuss this over with Lauren. Had he not gotten evicted, he probably would've told me once he bought the house and everything and practically force me to move in since he's already bought it.

"Did you like the house?" Lauren asked as I plopped next to her on our couch.

"Yeah, it was nice." I sighed

"The tone of voice you using wit' me doesn't sound like it was nice, what's wrong?" She asked

"Chris. He abruptly told me he was going to go see the house and that he would like for me to move in. He's mad because I rejected his.. offer." I explained

"Why did you?" She asked

"I just didn't want my personal space to be invaded, I also would feel like a terrible person if I were to leave all the bills to you. That's more than inconsiderate, it's— I don't know. I've put so much into this house, from the decorations, to the money! Let's not forget again that I do pay half of the bills."

She smiled, "India, I got news for you..." she paused and looked away for a second with the smile remaining on her face.

"What, Lauren?" I was damn near dying to hear what she had to say.

"I was going to ask you to help me find a place next month. I wouldn't have left you high and dry, I would've just suggested for you to look for a place big enough for the both of us had you still wanted to come along. But, India, it's no issue at all. There will eventually be a time when we'll have to move on our own." She explained

"Oh okay, that makes this better. I wish I would've knew this beforehand, it would've made my decision a bit easier— everybody and these secrets." I said and rolled my eyes

"Cut the eye rolling out." She said

I stuck my middle finger up to her and sat back on the couch.

"What are you going to do?" She asked

I let out a deep sigh, "Talk to him about this, that's one of the only things I can do." I said

I spent majority of the day chilling, eating, and sleeping. I needed this sleep, I've got work in the morning.

Today was a productive day at work. Majority of my time here today consisted of me sitting behind my desk; making calls, scheduling views for homes, and processing paperwork for potential buyers.

I just got home, and now I'm settling in until Lauren gets off at 8.

Do you work today?
