{4 Days Later}

"Baby, get up" I moved the hands off my face and slowly opened my eyes. Lani was poking me with a pen. Ol' Weird ass.

"I'm up, what are you doing?" I asked.

"Nothing" I laughed and got dressed.

I put on a Black and White 'Been Trill' Tee, Black and White Nike Shorts, Black Nike Socks, and my White, Red, and Black 14's.

"I'm gone Baby Girl" I said pecking Lani's lips and walking out. Luke and I had to reschedule since we had bad weather.

"Mhm, your bag is by the door" She said waving me off. I laughed and jogged downstairs after grabbing my Nike Duffel.

"You ready?" I heard Luke ask.

"Hell yeah" I said. We did our handshake we made up, and hopped in my All Black Escalade.

We pulled up to the Compton Rec Center and signed it. We started with just random shots, and talking.

After playing 2 practice rounds and joking, we started the first game.

"Alright, I told Lani I've been wanting a Gold Maserati" Alonte said. I nodded.

"And I've been telling Macy and Tay I've been looking at a new Dark Blue Benz" I said.

"Nice choice" I nodded as he took the ball up top, and started.

I won, and Lonte was upset.

"I had fun" I said tying my shoe.

"Yeah me too"

"You know, you remind me of Javon" I said as we signed out.

"Who?"

"My son, Macy's dad" I added. I still can't believe he's gone.

"Oh, well thanks, I guess" He said unsure.

"Yeah, y'all act alike, but I can see your more careful of what you do, that boy didn't care what happened, as long as he got what he wanted, he wasn't careful" I said chuckling.

"Y'know, Lani told me that they never found his killer, would you like for my crew to that?" He asked. We pulled up to Burger King and got food.

"I never really thought about it, but I would appreciate it" I said.

We got back to his house, got freshened up, and headed back out. I had on a White Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, Light Washed Jeans, and my Cocaine 1's.

"Aye looking fresh Luke" I heard Alonte say. I laughed. Lani had it laid out.

"Thanks, same"

"Well y'know, it's only right" I laughed again as we walked out.

I arrived at mama's house with Tay and Macy. I don't feel comfortable around Adrian after what Lonte told me.

We walked in, and the kids ran upstairs. I smelled chicken, and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey mama" I said sitting at the bar.

"Hey sweetie, where's my knucklehead son?" She asked.

"My dad took him out, they're hanging out, I call it a date" I said laughing.

"I'm glad he's taking a liking to him" I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, but I was wanting to talk to you" I said. She sat in front of me, sliding a bowl of Chicken Pot Pie in front of me.
