   It was a nice spring day and you and your friends Akain, and Daitan where hanging out at  your house watching Naruto.
"Y/n come here please," You heard your mother yell from downstairs .

You looked at your friends and mouthed sorry to them leaving your room to find out what she needed.
"Yes mom?" You ask quietly.

You saw her smile, "your birthday is tomorrow if there anything you wish for?"

You shook your head no and ran back to your friends once you were dismissed. You made it back to your room in time to see Gaara save Konohamaru, Naruto, and Suskue from kankuro and Temari before the exams. You smiled, Gaara was always your favorite character and being able to rewatch Naruto with your friends made it better.

Your mom yelled saying that it was bed time so you and your friends turned to tv off Akain looks at you..
"Hey Y/n since we are having a sleepover who gets the bed?" She said pointing to the only boy in the room.

I got the point " Daitan go sleep on the guests room for tonight no boys are allowed to sleep in my room."

Akain stuck her tongue out at him and we all laughed knowing we were joking. I laid down on the floor Akain  on my bed. It was more comfy then I thought, but it wasn't like I was going to get much sleep anyways. I laid there looking at my roof and the noises of the wind outside, I sighed. Getting off of my floor opened my window feeling the cold breezy night air and looked at the stars.

   I to myself pointed out all the Constellations I could see. It was indeed an a lovely night too bad my friends were asleep. Reluctantly I walked back to the spot on the floor and laid down. Forcing  my eyes closed wasn't the easiest, I managed to go to sleep.

   I woke up to the smell bacon and eggs and smiled. I threw myself off the porch opening a door and racing downstairs. Hey so my mom cook in my two friends helping I smiled.
   My mom noticed me "come one in Y/n we are almost done then you can have your present"

   I sat down as the served me my breakfast then their own. I tried my best to saver But delicious food was too good as I scarfed it down. I heard my mom and friends laugh but she pulled out what looked like a little box all wrapped up. You opened it in awe of the two earrings.

   "Your grandma wanted you to have this when you turned 16, like today." She smiled and spoke softly.

   You looked at it "these earrings look weird," you paused.

   "There like mood rings but mood earrings"  your Mother laughed

   "Come on Y/n put them in so we can see them before we have to leave" Daitan spoke pointing to him and Akain.

   I put them on and took the note card one of my earrings said I was happy the other one sad it confused me. Soon enough though my friends parents came and they had to leave so I walked up back to my room and laid down. I kept looking at the box that my mom said my grandma picked out. the bottom that held in the earrings looks like it was lifted up so I pulled it out and saw a note.

   ' dear Y/n
                 I know how much you love to play and make new friends so I gave you these earrings. They may not work for it's been ages but please give them a chance. And if you ever get sad or lonely say  this word and never any other time for they won't work...

  You looked at it, it was Spanish for take me away.

    You were wearing your earrings when she came along Hoshi the most popular girl in school. Her name literally meant star while I really wasnt anything important.

   "Hey brat nice earrings ... give them to me" she held out her hand Waiting.

   "No I won't give you them!" I looked at her

    "You little!" Her lackys held me and she grabbed the earrings out of my ears.

   She looked at them throwing the working one on the ground and stomping on it with her high heel. It shattered  she through the other one on the ground.

   " you can keep that one but next time Listen you little bitch." Her lackys let go of me and I slumped down to the ground.

scooping up the shattered pieces of the working earring. I quickly grabbed my one earring that wasn't shattered the broken one and ran to the bathroom.
