"Who is really chained? The one you chain on the wall or you that hate her and chain yourself to her in this way?"

Liam's pov

"Liam get up!" Phobos says worried.

"Mm... What the hell?" I murmur and raise my hand to touch Mira next to me but instead of her I touch only sheets.

"Get up idiot! Mate is not here!" he screams and I instantly jump up opening my eyes widely.

From what I can see the room is empty and the bathroom as well. Her scent is fainted which means that she is not in Ethan and Angel's room either. 

What the fuck? 

She never does it!

"Liam! Cassie is missing!" James says in hurry through the link.

"And Mira. Where did they go?"

"Shit! Liam we are in deep shit! She left something on her pillow, a note. We are done!" he shouts panicked and I stand up in a second with Phobos howling like crazy.

"Liam... That psycho... This is a note for Mira!" he continues and I begin shaking looking around me like I am lost and then...

"There is a letter on Mira's pillow! Come here! And inform everyone NOW!" I roar and open the lights like a flash and then rush to take the letter in my hands.

Why I don't have a good feeling about it?

In fact, why do I have the worst feeling I had ever in my whole life?

I open the envelope with shaking hands and take off the paper. 

I open it and read:

' Liam I am sorry to write you this letter but I have to... Some time ago I found a note from that man and if I want to save the kids, you, the family and pack I have to go and find him.

I am sorry for not telling you but when it comes to everyone's safety I can't risk it. I have to go alone and do whatever it has to be done on my own this time. I know that this probably means my end but I will do anything in order to keep you all safe.

I want to thank you for the time we lived together, these days were the best of my life and you showed me what love means and looks like. I am grateful that Ethan and Angel will have you now that I won't be able to stand next to them. You are a great father and mate. I know that you are going to do fantastic with them, they love you very much!

I love you more than you can imagine and I want you to keep on living like I am with you because I promise that I am never going to leave you alone. Stay strong and love the kids for both of us.

"No!" I murmur shaking my head unable to believe it.

"Liam!" my father exclaims breaking into the room with James and Jacob behind him.

"They are gone... For good." I murmur and fall on my knees dizzy.

"What do you mean? What the...?" my father says taking the letter from my hands and reads it with Jacob while Ryan, Paul, Zoey and April get in the room in hurry.

"What is happening? Where is my baby?" Zoey almost screams but Paul signs for her to speak in a low tone for Ethan and Angel.

"Shit!" Jacob exclaims and looks at me with a terrified expression.
