Mira's pov
I keep on staring at Liam's ring and my hearts aches.
I am like this for about one hour?!
Everything is blurred in my mind, only my heart reacts and this happens only from the pain I feel.
I don't know what I have done to deserve this fate... I found Liam again to fall in love with him, become a real family and then lose him for good.
He hates me and he is right, I can't blame him!

"Mira, Liam is here!" Harper almost screams panicked breaking into my office.
I sit up instinctually and my heart drops. I stay like this staring at her for some seconds breathless and I can't believe it or I just don't want to because I have no idea how to face him.

I... I asked him not to come, I need him away from me, I cannot face him!
"Great... Mira, you have fucked up everything!" Moira growls in my mind and I stiffen back nervously.
"Mira? Are you alright? You are pale!" Harper says worried and walks on my side.
"I... Don't know." I whisper breathless and take one step back.
"Take Ethan and Angel somewhere away! I do not want them to understand a thing." I tell her shortly after gaining my mind and she nods quickly.
She caresses my arm shortly and after she gives me a sympathetic smile, she turns and runs out of my office. I close my eyes staying alone again and take a long, deep breath.
Why is this man so stubborn?

"Because he is our mate and he can't understand why you did this!" Moira groans ready to lose her temper.
"Shut up Moira because you agreed on this, I didn't take this decision alone!" I scream making her move uncomfortably in my mind.

"Alpha!" Hobs shouts and gets in my office without knocking as Harper left the door open.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to keep him out? I can tell him to leave, if you want me to." He says nervously probably because I look like a wreck.

I was never scared and now I am mostly shaking and sweating like a chicken!
"No Hobs. I will deal with it on my own, I won't need you. You can go and take care of your work. I will be fine." I reply in hurry and he nods timidly worried.
