Chapter Four

I watched as Hope walked around a bone that was protected. I didn't know much about where the bone came from.

"What is it, Hope?" I asked.

"Whispers." She told me.

"Hope, Jackson. What's going on?" Mom walked in with a worried look.

Klaus walked in a couple seconds later

"What's going on." Klaus wanted to know.

"Look at me. Tell me what you heard." Mom looked at Hope.

"Tell them, Hopey." I smiled at her.

"Voices. They said that we're connected to this." Hope said. "You, Jackson, and I."

I noticed the look Klaus and mom shared.

"If this fossil has been whispering lies, I'll gladly throw it in the river." Klaus stated.

"No. Not the bone." Hope said. "The witches. The Ancestors. They have a message for us. A warning."

Mom put her hand on Hope. "Tell me what they said."

"They want you to go to St. Anna's Church to talk to them." Hope replied. "They said you have to do exactly what they say, and you have to do it now." She turned back to the bone. Before the Hollow comes for me."

I was left at the compound with Hope. Mom told me to watch over her, even though I'm younger. Hope is more in danger.

Hope found me with a look on her face. "We have to go."

I stood up. "What? Where?

"They are going to kill my dad." She gripped my hand, dragging me.

I fell in step beside her as we hurried towards the church. Hope and I stormed into the church. My eyes widened when I saw a brunette girl about to make Marcel bite Klaus and kill him.

"Hope." I whispered.

"No!" Hope yelled.

They all turned to us in surprise.

"You promised to help, but your not helping. You're hurting us, and we won't let you."

Hope began using magic. The wind blew and the girl disappeared. Klaus sat up. Hope ran into his arm, hugging him. I slowly walked up.

I smiled softly at Klaus. "Are you okay?"

"I'm good, kid." Klaus said.

I felt awkward. I wasn't a Mikaelson. They weren't really my family.

"Come here." Klaus told me. He pulled me into a hug. I closed my eyes, smiling. I never had a father or father figure. This was nice.

Hope and I walked into the room that held a man named Alaric Saltzman. He was from the town mystic falls. I've never been there, but from what I heard it's a town with a lot of supernatural creatures.

"My dad said you study this stuff." Hope said.

"Yeah, that's right. There are a lot of amazing things in the world to study. And some of them are even things that don't want to hurt you. And what do you have there?" Alaric asked, looking at the stuff Hope was holding.

Hope put the stuff on the table. "These are for serenity. And this one is for stillness."

"They'll keep the flowers in bloom." I smiled. Hope told me all about them.

Alaric smiled. "Now, did you both teach yourself all that?"

"Well, I did read about it in one of my Aunt Freya's book. She's helping me learn." Hope said. "I told Jackson about it. But some stuff we figure out on our own."

"Well... that is all very impressive." Alaric stated.

"They both are impressive young lady's." Mom walked in with a tray of cookies

"It's good meeting you, little Mikaelson, and Jacksom, I'll be seeing you around." Alaric told us before leaving.

"Those for us?" Hope smirked.

"Yummy." I held my stomach that was getting hunger pains.

"After what you both did today, your dad compelled the entire Magnolia candy shop." Mom smirked at Hope.

"I didn't do anything. That was all Hope." I frowned.

"But you were there." She told me.

Hope frowned. "Dad seemed sad."

"I think that he wanted to be the one doing the helping today. But we both agreed on one thing:you were very, very brave. So were you Jackson." Mom said.

"We just thought about what you would do." Hope smiled.

"And that was going into a place where we knew was dangerous but did it because our family was in it." I said.

"It's like you always say:if we stick together, nothing can hurt us." Hope told her. "Always and forever."

Hope kissed her middle and pointing finger, holding it up. Mom did the same and so did I. We put our fingers against each other. Then we hugged.

I might not be a Mikaelson but I felt like they were my family. Klaus was being a father to me. Hope always said that I was part of always and forever.

A/N

I'm sorry if this book is a little sucky at first but like I said, Jackson will mostly be in the parts with Hope. I hope you are liking this book.
