„Your stress level is very high. I was researching what to do when someone is stressed. Tho that you are a deviant but a prototype like me I thought... A hug would be helpful! But it seems it stresses you out more than before" It was Connor who hugged Pete from behind. Very kind of him to do that.

A slight blue blush covered Petes freckles. He was so glad that Connor was behind him so he couldn't see his blush.
„Do... You maybe want to talk about it?" Connor mumbled into Pete's neck, no thinking of release him from the hug.
„It's been 3 years since his sons death... I understand Hanks pain and I miss that lil' guy too. He and I grew up around each other... He was growing... I was learning from him AND Hank... It was shocking to hear that he didn't make it..." Pete whispered, looking through his room.
„Connor?" He asked.
„Yes?" Connor answered, putting his head on Petes shoulder to hear him better.

„C-could y-you please... L-leave my ro-o-oom?" Pete stuttered.
Connor realized what he was doing and released Pete from their hug and took a big step back. Even he was blushing. But way more worse than Pete.
„Sure!" He answered trying to sound professional and left the room.
Pete heard the door closing. He released a huge breath which he was holding back for time before Connor left. He took off his white hoodie with black sleeves and hood. On it's chest was the symbol from his favorite band Linkin Park. On the back there were the names of the 7 albums and their years when they came out.
One more light was the last album they made before the singer of this music group, named Chester, committed suicide. They got calmer by ever album they made. But Pete had his favorites. He loved the albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora the most. But his favorite song was from an another album. The songs name was The Messenger.

While thinking he got out of his shoes and put them next to the door. He heard something at the door. A slight meowing...
He opened the door and Cookie came in. She immediately pressed herself against Petes leg and purred. He smiled and went to his wardrobe, trying not to trip over the cat. He opened the wardrobe and pulled out some loose sweatpants to sleep. Quickly he switched his pants and fell into his bed. Pete took the blanket and wrapped himself in it.
Cookie jumped to him in the bed and lay down next to him, still purring. Both didn't noticed that they were watched. Pete couldn't notice it because he fell asleep very fast.

The next morning - November, 11th

Pete was still sleeping when Hank looked for him. Hank thought that Pete would need it. He decided to not wake him and went to the kitchen.
Connor sneaked back to Pete and looked in his room. His room was decorated with interesting things. 3 walls were painted blue and one was painted pitch black. On the black one were hanging some drawings and certificates/awards. He took a closer look to read for what.

'Certificate for being the first Android working in Cases every kind'
'Certificate for absolveing a shoot training'
and more.
His view fell on a Family drawing. There were Hank, Sumo and Cole on it. Kinda cute that he Drew that. But why he didn't drew himself in the drawing. Suddenly he felt something at his leg and looked down.
It was Cookie!
She noticed that Connor was standing in the door frame and went to him. He petted her softly. After that she jumped back to Pete and lay down on Petes neck. Connor began to smile a little. A fluffy and cute neck warmer.

„Connor! Where the heck are you?! We need to leave!" Hank called for Connor and he turned around to walk in the living room.
„Coming. Lieutenant... Why didn't you wake Pete too?" Connor asked and fixed his tie.
„He needs it. He will know where we are when he is waking up" Hank explained.
„I mean... Don't you androids charge yourself by sleeping? He was two years gone and maybe didn't got that much sleep. It's a miracle that he even had the energy to save you on the highway" he added and Connor nodded.
Both went out and straight to Hanks car to drive to the DPD.
