I found out how to make her love me

I'm in love with my best friend. Physically, she's unique and stunning in her own way. She's quirky and funny and gets excited about the weirdest shit and I love that about her. She's interested in stuff that other people think is creepy or macabre, but I think is endearing and makes her more human. The problem is that she doesn't notice me-she never has. I'm just her friend, nothing more-and I want to be something more.

But I found out how to make her love me. When I share an obsession with her-when I share a passion for whatever fad she's going through, I feel like she sees me. I feel like she feels me. Her latest obsession is one of the strangest yet, but I think that it's my window into her heart. I'm going to do more than just share this passion-I'm going to live it. I'm going to become this thing that she's so crazy about right now, that she loves to read about and write about and talk about, and then she'll love me. Her search history is full of names: Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and so many more. This is her obsession right now. This is what she wants. If I become this, she'll want me. She wants a serial killer, so I'll be that for her.
