Ch 9.

Liana was walking quickly, the collars of her dark brown leather jacket up and her hands in it's pockets to protect her from cold.

Her tests will start exactly in ten minutes she was so late, she stopped when she saw a figure standing a distance from her blurred a little cause of the snowy wind, her face hardened and she continued to walk more faster this time.

"What do you want, Natasha" she said turning,  her voice came out harsher than she intended because of the cold,
Natasha flinched visibly.

"We need your help" she stated walking to her.

"What makes you think I'll help you" Liana said trying to act tough, she knew it must be something really important if Natasha has come to ask her help.

Natasha tipped her head and Liana Saw the outline of a black jet at a distance, she sighed "I've got five minutes"

Liana sat rubbing her cold hands together, in the jet. While Natasha stood beside her 'how can she appear so unaffected by the cold' liana thought.

Steve walked in and Liana shot up from her place "no"

Natasha looked at her confused.

"I won't help him" Liana clarified.

Steve looked really taken aback by this "Liana, please listen to me" he said walking slowly to her as to not scare her, her glare hardened with every step he took.

"It's about Bucky" he said as a explanation.

"Isn't everything about him, he's a murderer"

Steve flinched "I-he didn't knew what he was doing, he was under Hydra 's control" Steve's said almost pleadingly  "he's going to die and I don't know what to do, I can't go to Tony there's only you" Liana took a sharp breath and her eyes casted away.

After glaring at the floor for minutes, Liana started fidgeting with her arc reactor pendant.

"What are you doing" Natasha asked.

"Removing the tracker on me" she said taking out her glasses from her pocket " uncle Tony must not know about this little expedition" she mumbled more to herself.

Steve felt such Joy at this statement that he could have hugged the young girl but stopped himself.

Natasha was already preparing for there flight with a knowing smile.

"Bucky entered cryostasis, until we can be sure that he has control over his mind" Liana nodded as steve filled her with information as they walked to shuri's lab.

"But the problem is try as we might we are unable to wake him up" said another voice from behind them, they turned to see a beautiful skinny girl with dark brown skin and black braided hair, she walked smiling to them "miss stark, heard a lot about you" she said shaking Liana's hand.

"Liana, I can't wait to see the famous lab of the smartest Princess" Liana answered.

Liana was awestruck by seeing the wonderful lab she walked around touching and observing everything, her steps halted when her eyes landed on Bucky Barnes sleeping in glass case, she walked to him with this weird scary but daring feeling in her heart.

This was the first time she was seeing him for real and he was so different from the pictures, his  black hair was scattered on his face, hiding much of it for Liana's liking.
she unknowingly stretched her hand to touch his face but it stopped by the glass.

"I can't believe" Liana banged her head on the desk "we haven't" bang "been able to" bang "find anything" bang "in two days" steve stopped her from banging her head for the fifth time.

He handed a cup of coffee, Liana cringed at the smell before downing it.

Shuri sat across her in deep thought, frowning "we don't have much time" she observed.

"What are you reading" she asked shuri tiredly, shuri showed her the book "it's a book by our ancestors"

"Can I" Liana started reading the ancient book on spiritual healing.

Liana trudged down the forest on her horse into the clearing, where the beautiful glass casket lay in which was sleeping a even Beautiful person, worried dwarfs where sitting on the grass around it, all of them had Steve's face.

She jumped off her horse and walked to the casket, opening it she bend to admire the gorgeous face of the sleeping prince before kissing his soft red lips, she lifted her eyes to see him smiling at her.

Liana sat on the bed and wiped the sweat off her forehead 'what a weird dream, it was' .

Rubbing sleep off her eyes she walked to the lab.

There she stood in front of the cryostasis looking at Bucky, he was dying every second she was delaying, her throat tightened at this thought "what should I do" she asked him softly, before pressing the buttons that would open the cover.

She walked to him and tentively touched the skin where his metal arm was attached, flinching softly at imagining the pain he had went through, her touch was soft and feathery  as she caressed his cheek, before moving his hair away from his face before hovering over the fading bruises.

"What are you doing" Liana woke from her trance to see shuri standing beside her but before she could reply her, she felt a firm grip on her hand, her eyes widened as her head whipped back to see Bucky Barnes awake. His crystal eyes staring at her with confusion.

"Freaking fuck" shuri exclaimed.
