Me and the other women were standing up, ready to go to the exits of the stands.
It was something different since I was used to sit on the bench right on the pitch side.We were getting out of our row in the passage between the different seating blocks and a huge crowd formed itself by the people who wanted to go out as well.
I sat on the outer seat so I was the first one to exit the row.
More and more people were coming, standing next to me and dragging me forward. In all the rush, I lost contact to Mirella and the other ones. I turned around frantically, searching for their faces, but the crowd was pushing me and I gripped my bag tighter.
I tried to keep my breathing calm. I didn't like having no room and big crowds of people. And also I didn't have a single clue in which directions I needed to go in this stadium.
It was loud, everyone was talking and I couldn't see any of the other women I was at with only minutes ago.
As I was going through the exit, I breathed in deep before I tried to orientate.I felt lost without Mirella but I don't know if I should wait for her. What if she gets out on another exit?
I began walking downstairs, happy to have escaped the big crowd of people.
After I went a few floors downstairs, a nice looking woman of the staff stood in a corner and I decided to ask her.
"Hello, can you please tell me where I need to go to reach the tunnels?"
"The one where the players are?" She asked and I nodded.
"Can I please see your pass?" She said, gesturing to the lanyard around my neck.
I took it off and showed her. She scanned it and nodded in approval."You need to go further downstairs, then take the left and you'll see the signposted ways to the tunnels" she smiled.
"Thank you" I said and wasted no time following her directions.
Once I was downstairs, I breathed out as there weren't that much people anymore.
But I was still lost. Somehow I found the different ways to the team changing rooms though.
Suddenly, a firm hand grabbed my upper body rough from behind and another hand was placed over my mouth. My scream came out as nothing and I panicked instantly.
I tried to kick my attacker but he noticed and dragged me away from the changing rooms. Tears streamed down my face. No, I don't want to get raped again. This can't happen. This has to be a nightmare, please.
I found a way to breathe again as he threw me on the floor, my arms and legs hurt at the hard contact and I winced. My whole body was shaking like a leaf and I crawled towards the corner in pure fear. This was no nightmare, this time it was reality.
The bulky person stood tall in front of me, but I couldn't recognize the face as it wore a hood and sunglasses.
I sobbed loud and screwed my eyes shut and the person, a male judging by the body, was stepping closer towards me, tears still spilling out of my eyes.
