Mate Of a Gargoyle

Chapter four: stranger from the past

Sky stood in front of the mirror looking at the stealth suit she had on then looked at the gear she was given to complete the task at hand she strapped everything to her suit then walked to the roof of the house where a helicopter waited to take her to her destination, she got in and strapped her self in as they took off she watched the scenery pass and change right before her eyes, bustling cities turned into farmlands then farmlands turned into beautiful forests then out of nowhere a huge gray castle stood before them lights shining in the windows, but not a soul to be seen. the helicopter landed in a clearing letting her hop out before it took off leaving her to walk the remaining distance to the castle, she stuck to the shadows and listened for any movement that would alert her that there was someone nearby.

soon she made it to the castle mysteriously without incident, she remembered the man who hadn't yet given her his name had said that the castle would be heavily guarded, she brushed off the eerie feeling and continued into a tunnel that would take her inside, she listened for any sound to alert her that someone was coming. She made it to the end of the tunnel and went inside the castle, as she walked down the hallway she never noticed the figure watching her from behind the curtains in the hallway  

she followed the map and found the tech room slipping inside she looked for the gadget that she was asked to steal a gadget that will help her "employer " defeat his enemy she found what she was looking for then, quickly excited the room keeping in the shadows as to no be seen, then from the darkness behind her a voice reached out to her. she knew dam well this was way too easy 

" you don't really think you'd be able to easily walk out of this castle with that, do you? "

"well, you see ...." 

she started running it was weird she didn't  hear an alarm of any sort go off, as she ran she felt something fly above her, then the figure that spoke to her from the darkness landed in front of her, she stopped in her tracks and looked up in fright suddenly the object in her hand evaporated leaving her , staring at the gargoyle in front of her whom she recognized from the where house with all the dead bodies .

" Now you're in it deep guards take her to one of the guest room, put guards at all exits " 

"w-wait please i -i ...he didn't even tell me what I as stealing he just showed me a picture" 

"he ?" the gargoyle, turned back to her as he looked at his guards "I'll take her with me "

with that, he took her to his office and closed the door.
