Chapter 8: True Love

Kregrez walked out of the room and locked the door just in case whoever  it was had come back for sky wouldn't be able to get her and take her away, he walked down the long corridors towards the throne room, then walked in, a man about 6ft with red shoulder-length red  hair and red eyes .

"Hello M'lord my name is Efren Vergara, I had been on a camping expedition with my daughter, and she got lost we looked for her for days, and then got wind that she was seen here at your castle, sky is very prone to wondering off..." 

Kregrez looked at Efren and narrowed his eyes, he then stepped away from his throne to get a better look at Efren, when suddenly Efren whipped out a tube that had been hidden cleverly as a part of his cloak with a flick of his wrist a blade sprung forth and Efren lunged at Kregrez with the intent to kill the Gargoyle Prince, With quick thinking and many many hours of training Kregrez wrapped his tail around Efren's arm and snapped it making him roar in rage and pain, Efren then went to try to stab kregrez again when suddenly sky ran up jumping onto Efren's back distracting him. As he tried to get her off his back  Kregrez knocked the sword out of Efren's hand rendering him defenseless, in rage, Efren grabbed sky and threw her across the room and into one of the giant marble pillars, with a yelp sky fell to the marble floor limp , when kregrez turned to call out sky's name Efren grinned as he pressed a button on his belt and suddenly he was gone.

Kregrez ran over to sky and gently picked up and bounded off to the hospital wing of his castle, where the doctors and nurses took her from him and immediately carted her off for x-rays and tests to make sure she was alright, a couple of hours later a doctor came to kregrez. 

" m' lord I'm happy to say that her majesty is going to be alright, a few minor bruises but that is all, amazingly, she doesn't have any other injuries from hitting the pillar, on the other hand she also save your life if that man had gotten you in any way with that sword you would of been poisoned" 

"When can I see her ...is it ok to see her... " for some reason he was freaking out and then he realized its because of the mark and the fact that he had fallen head over heels for her. 

the doctor nodded and walked him to Sky's room where she was asleep her heart monitor showed a regular steady heartbeat. As Kregrez walked into the room his heart started to race as he watched her sleep, her vibrant red hair against the white pillow looked like blood spilled across the snow, her beautiful ivory skin, she smiled in her sleep partially opening her plump and full blood-red lips, the doctor left leaving them alone in the room Kregrez closed the door and went to sit next to her bed he ran his hand through her hair loving how it felt like the softest silk, he leaned down and whispered in her ear .

had" I've fallen in love with you, everything about you and not just because of the mark, your beautiful, smart, wonderful, you eyes are like the sky which your named after your hair is red like a beautiful rose bloom, your skin is so smooth and beautiful,your voice is light like a summer breeze, I want to spend the rest of eternity with you, I'm scared to lose you i am also scared of these feelings because you are the first one I've felt this for "

Sky opened up her eyes and looked at him with tears she grabbed his hand smiling looking into his emerald green eyes and smiled 

" that is the most beautiful thing anybody has ever said to me Kregrez I've fallen in love with you too, I'm so glad that you didn't get stabbed by that sword... I didn't know he would do that ..."

"sky darling it's ok I should be thanking you, you saved my life something a true mate of a gargoyle prince would do... I know you will make a wonderful queen "

Kregrez leaned down and kissed sky gently, moaning as their lips connected, but it was broken by a knock on the door, and what lies behind that door will change sky forever.
