Chapter 10: The Dream

Down down down she fell further into the darkness looking around for anything when suddenly she landed on her feet like a cat in the pitch darkness, then the pitch dark turned into her childhood home she looked around in amazement then stepped back startled as her sister Cassandra and their mother walked into the kitchen where she was. Her mother looked over at her and smiled. 

" Sky darlin did you wash your hands' dinner is ready" 

"s-sorry mother...." she walked to the sink and washed her hands she then turned to her mother " what's for dinner mama ?"

" why it's your favorite spaghetti and meatballs grandma made some of her famous meatballs and gave us some. I know how much you love them!"

she smiled and sat in her usual spot right next to Cassandra their mother served them and kissed their cheeks happily then sat down. 

" I'm so happy to have my girls home " 

Cassandra looked at sky and in a low tone " don't eat the food..." 

sky looked at Cassandra confused then looked at their mother who had an awful grin on her face her mother looked at her then frowned sitting up straighter

" whats wrong darlin? aren't you hungry, u thought spaghetti was your favorite ..."

"I'm just not hungry mother... I think I'm feeling sick ...." 

" well if ur sick you should try to eat something " 

" really mother I'm not feeling good enough to eat" 

her mother slammed her hand down the table and glared at her.

"YOU EAT THAT FOOD NOW...OR I'LL SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT!"

with that Cassandra grabbed both their plates and threw them at what once was their mother but what was now a huge black mass that came hurtling towards them sky suddenly realized that Cassandra looked older which was impossible because Cassandra was eight when she was killed, the front door of the house opened and kregrez stood there holding his hand out to sky for her to grab when suddenly the black mass shot forward grabbing a hold of Cassandra's wrist she cried out in pain as the black mist became black goo and scorched her porcelain skin. 

" SKY GO! GET OUT OF HERE TAKE HIS HAND!"

"NO ....CASSANDRA PLEASE! "

with a shove, Cassandra pushed sky towards kregrez 

"LOOK FOR ME SISTER I AM ALIVE! GO TO THE ONE WHO MANIPULATED YOU INTO HELPING HIM! HE KNOWS! HE KNOWS!"  

Sky started to struggle against kregrez's strong grip as she screamed and cried for her sister when suddenly sky sat straight up gasping for breath as hot tears streamed down her face Kregrez sat up next to her staring at her with a saddened look on his face he went to hug her but she screamed in pain and backed away from him lifting her shirt there burned into her skin was two hand prints that matched those of the sister that saved her life.
