she nervously looked around the gargoyles office wondering what he was gonna do to her, she looked around the office, it was beautifully designed, then she looked at the man behind the desk, or rather the gargoyle behind the desk, he was easily 8 ft tall, much taller than her 4' 11" self, making it to where she literally had to look up to him when he spoke, which by any means was not her favorite thing to do.
" Who are you working for?" he looked at her with his emerald green eyes which were oddly exotic.
" he never told me his name so I can't give you that "
" So you started working for someone who you don't even know the name of? What did he offer you for you to accept the job so quickly?"
She looked down, and quietly answered his question scared he would laugh at her
" he offered me food and a place to call home "
He was quiet for a moment before speaking.
"You have no home? what about your parents or other family? "
"my parents are dead, they were the only kids in their families, I've been living on the street since I was sixteen, I've has to steal and beg to survive."
"Well, for now, I will have one of my guards take you to a guest bedroom until I can figure out what to do with you "
With that, a guard came into the office to take her to a guest room until further notice, the room the guard took her to was, like the rest of the castle, beautifully decorated unlike the room that the man who hired her gave her, which was decorated with dark colors, this room as beautiful colors adorning every nook and cranny, bright reds and purples, adorned with gold she felt of the sheets they were smoothed and silky sliding out of her hand almost like water
Soon the sun went down and she turned on a single lamp in the room, she felt as tho she would soil the beauty of the silk sheets if the laid amongst them so she laid down on the floor and soon fell asleep.
now she just had to figure out what to do to fix the problem she created, which means shes has to pick whos side shes on.
