I was shocked that Percy even knew how to dance. We ran into each other a few weeks ago at the cafe. We didn't really speak.
"I didn't know that you knew how to dance?"
"I had a few lessons when I was younger."
"Cool."
"I've been meaning to ask you, has anything weird happened to you lately?"
"No,why? Was something weird supposed to happen?"
"No, just that weird stuff usually happens to all the new kids in this town. I really hope that nothing weird or dumb happens to you" he said.
"I better get back to hanging with the guys before our lives our ruined by school."
He walked towards the door then turned around and said,"I never got your name or number."
"My name is Mia. I broke my phone so I don't have it right now."
She handed him a black sharpie and told him to right his number on her arm. He smiled at her and bent down to write his number when he noticed a scar. It was on her wrist. It looked similar to the one that he had.
"Where did you get that scar?"
" I got it when I was young. My parents told me it was from something that I fell on."
He showed her his. He noticed that it was in the shape of a trident. The symbol of Posidien. The god of water and earthquakes. He saw that both of the scars matched. She called Bella over to come take a picture of it. It was a odd request but she did it willingly. She took the picture and handed Percy's phone back to him asking if they could get back to practice. Percy heard and said that he was sorry for interrupting. He went back out the way he came.
