They walked into homeroom and took seats at the back of the room. All of a sudden the room got quiet.
They looked at the door and saw Percy coming into the room. He was one of the main popular kids in the school.
He came and sat down by us in the back. Our teacher walked in and notice that I was a new student.
"What is your name?"
"Mia, I moved here from Miami."
"Nice to meet you Mia. I am your homeroom teacher Mr. Swazort." All the students looked at me like I was crazy.
Bella whispered to me,"No one has ever had a conversation that long with him." He looked crazy but he looked lonely. Percy was looking back and forth between us. I looked down and saw that he had a pen. It looked really old so I offered him a new one.
"No thank you, I'm good with this one. Thanks for offering though." He smiled and started texting someone.
"Who are you texting? Is it a girl? O.M.G, do you have a girlfriend?"
"Yes, I do. Her name is Annabeth. I meet her at a summer camp that we both went to growing up."
"Does she go to this school?"
"Not yet. She is working on getting transferred." He showed me a picture.
"I think that I might know her. I saw her somewhere around here." The bell rang which all startled us.
"My first class is Spanish. What's yours" he said.
"I have Spanish also."
"I'll show you how to get there." So they walked to their first class together.
