I'm panicking big time, mostly because I have nowhere to go and not enough money to stay at a hotel for more  than a few days. Oh what do I do

Was all my brain was screaming and for the first time, I acted without over thinking. I rushed to my diary where i wrote it and dialed Jayden's number, I've called several times but he's not picking up, I immediately start packing anything I can in the little bag pack I had when I got a call from the house phone, I picked it up and fortunately it was Jayden.

"Adriana, what's up?". He asked immediately I picked up and I didn't even have the time to ponder on how he knew it was me calling though since it was through the house phone.

"I need to get out of here, please get me out of here". I said confidently at first, then my voice faltered "P-ple-ease get me out of here, t-they're coming". I said, shaking really badly.

"Calm down Anna, okay? I'm on my way". He said as I heard his engine revive. I cut off the phone call and continue pacing and packing what I could when I remembered that I had a friend that'll go crazy if I just disappeared. So, I decided to write a letter telling her what happened, well not entirely all that happened, no one knows that I'm being attacked by people I don't know.

I heard a knock on the door and to be honest my heart beat is erratic tight now, I've never been this scared since I was born, I guess it's because I always had someone with me when they decide to strike. I don't even know whether  it's Jayden or them, the knock game again, this time more desperate, I summoned up courage and went close to the door to check the surveillance that Cassie had installed for 'security sake', something I'm really grateful for right now. I've never been so happy to see Jayden, I immediately opened the door, and he engulfed me in a hug I really needed but wanted in another place as in they're coming .

Its a comfortable and quiet ride, I'm both surprised and grateful that he didn't ask any question, cause I wouldn't know how to answer. No one needed to know how shitty my life is, being chased by people you don't know, for nothing.

What do they want from me?

Its not like I have anything to give.

I didn't pick a fight with anyone, so what's going on.

I'm really tired of running.

I've been running since I knew myself, running from people I can't describe, I only know that they have similar tattoos.

And now, they've got my mother.

I kept thinking about these things and realised that no matter how hard we ran, they've won, they just captured my world. My mom may be strict with unnecessary rules but she's been with me all the way. I'm the one being pursued but instead of abandoning me, she stood by me. Now, she's captured and I'm in a luxurious car with a hot guy. Everything is my fault.

"Hey, I don't want you to cry okay. I can't stand it, I don't wanna ask questions now cause I know you're not ready to answer them. I just want you to know that I'm here for you all the way. Adriana, I'm happy you called me". He said, with a little smile, something I couldn't return, I didn't even realise I was crying, I never do that in front of anyone.

"Its all my fault". I said the only words that were ringing in my head. Causing Jayden to look at me.

"Its not, and we both know it". He said , trying to focus on the road and immediately, we got to a gate that just opened on its  own, as If being told what to do. I was greeted with the most beautiful house I've ever seen, it looked like a five star hotel but better, the middle part of the building was made of glass and the  rest  I don't know cause y'know its painted. Normal me, would've rolled myself on the beautiful lawn but right now I can't even fully appreciate the beauty in front of me.

I turned to see Jayden in front of a door, and walked in his direction but once I got there, he just wrapped his arms around me and whispered "its not your fault". Those words broke me completely, the tears I've been keeping at bay, the 'I don't care' façade broke in pieces as I bawled my eyes out. The sounds I was hearing were foreign to me cause I don't think I've ever cried out before, it was always in my room trying so hard not to be loud.

He held my hand and led me to a room which he called mine. It was very beautiful but I was too exhausted to gawk over it and just lay on the bed without even changing.

"I could help you change if you want". Jayden said innocently but the smirk on his face told me otherwise.

"I'm fine Jayden". I say not even able be humorous.

"I could also sleep here with you. I'm sure you need someone". He said, looking like a baby that really wanted candy.

"You're crazy Jayden". I smiled a little and he just startled me with a loud "yeah".

" I succeeded in making you smile, I'll check up on you tomorrow and yes, I called Cassie to let her know you're with me. Goodnight! ". He said before I could ask him what I wanted to, and that was how did he get Cassie's number?

"Goodnight". I said even if I knew he wouldn't hear it.

I had a hard time sleeping, just tossing around thinking of how my mother can't as she's been held captive, who even knows what they'd have done to her. She might've been harmed right now and here I am in a beautiful room on a giant soft bed. I started crying, I haven't cried in a while and now I think the dam has broken loose.
