We are on our way to Jayden's family house and to say I'm nervous would be an understatement because I know know how I'm supposed to act around royals... Yes yes I'm slowly believing the prince thing cause I saw an attire that looks prince-ish with Jayden when we were packing up.
"Alexandra, are you hungry. There's Mc Donald's just down the road, so if you wanna eat just tell me okay". He says looking straight at the road, even if I've caught him several times stealing glances at me.
"I'm filled up, you'll make me fat with the way you're going with this good thing". I said looking at him and to be honest, I've been thinking a lot since I stayed over at his place. He has really done a lot for me.
"Anyways, I think my mom knows something about the the tattoo you drew for me, and that's why I was instisting on going this early". He says, sparing me a glance.
"I really don't know what they want from me, I've got nothing to offer so why are they after me, I guess it's my life they want and if they ask for it in exchange for my mom. I'll give it to them, it's not like I have anything important to live for". I said, thinking of what they would have done to my mom by now. But the car came to a sudden stop which caused me to suddenly look at Jayden.
"Why did you stop like that?". I had to ask cause it scared the s** t outta me.
"How could you say that? Are you saying that you don't know about my feelings for you? If you die, I'd be alone and in agony. You don't care, do you?". He said, looking at me with tears in his eyes, he looked so frustrated with me, I'm such an idiot how could I just say that without thinking about him.
"I'm sorry". I felt so bad that I couldn't raise my head up to look at him.
"Look at me, in my eyes. Do you really not see it?". This is the most vunerable I've seen him. I couldn't look at him so he held my chin up and I did and then he kissed me.
To say I'm blown away would be an understatement. In just this one kiss, I could feel every emotion he's been trying to pass across.
And I kissed him back not holding back anything. I kissed him removing all thoughts from my mind.
"Can you feel it? How much I adore you". He said looking into my eyes so deep I thought he could see my should thereby making me vunerable.
"Umm, we need to continue our journey so we can get there on time". I said evading the earlier question as I know clearly well that I am attrito him. It might not be love or infatuation but I feel something and it's getting stronger.
"Right". He said and continued the ride.
We've been riding for two hours now and Jayden hasn't said a word, so say awkward would be an understatement right now. I want to make a conversation but I don't know what to start with .
"So, do you have a sister?". I asked smooth Adrianna, smooth... Strangely enough, I am very curious about his family .

We got to his house but this is no house, it's a mansion but the other reason why I'm so surprised is because it says The Oak Palace. That means Jayden is actually a prince I even saw that this house is the entire estate, there no other building in it
OMG!!!
I'm not a good digger but damn! This house, I mean palace is too magnificent.
"You should close your mouth, you're drooling already". Jayden says while laughing and I recollected myself and wiped my lips believing and him and this action made Jayden laugh so much I started laughing at myself.
His laugh was contagious and to be honest, I've never seen him really laugh.
It's funny how I take note of little things about him lately. I didn't really care before but now I actually do.
All this is supposed to make me happy but it just makes me feel awful.
It feels like I'm enjoying life while my mother is probably being tortured at that same moment and the guilt is eating me up slowly.
I was brought out of my thoughts when a middle aged overly gorgeous woman comes out of the hou-palace with a very big smile.
"Jaden, I've not heard you laugh like that in would I say 8 years now?". She said smiling so hard her little wrinkles were visible.
"Is this Adrianna?". She asks gasping a little making me really confused. You get what I mean right? Why would she gasp and look so surprised.
"Yes ma'am, I'm Adrianna. It's nice to meet you". I said unsure of whether to bow or not you can't blame, I don't know royal courtesies or etiquettes.
"It's my pleasure, you look so pretty. I can't believe it... Jayden you didn't state she was this pretty, almost as pretty as ingridad". She said, but the thing baffling me the most is the familiarity in her eyes. She's looking at me like she knows me.
"Who's Ingridad?". I asked mainly because the name was catchy.
"She was the queen of the Palace of Govair, the best queen and my best friend". She said with a little tears but one this I got was the *was*
"Is she dead? You referred to her in past tense". I asked and she nodded her head already tearing up.
"She was killed by people with the same tattoo you showed me, she showed me the same tattoo on the day she died". She said with great sadness in her eyes as if she was reliving that day so I just had to stop it because it was an obvious torment for her.
"It's okay, we came here because of the same tattoo but we can discuss this later. Take your time". I said, immediately regretting what I said as I got a sharp reminder that longer means my mom would be in there hands for a longer time.
"It needs to be done now, they must be stopped before another life is taken and moreover if I don't do it now. I won't do it again". She said with a blunt in her eyes reminding everyone present that indeed she was a queen.
