I walked into the Pokémon Center. It wasn't like the ones back in Hoenn. More like one of those Unova centers with a Nurse Joy and a Poke Mart rolled into one. The last person who had sat at the table across from the Poke Mart had left magazines strewn all over it. I picked one up and leafed through it before dropping it back on the table and walking over to the PC.
I selected "Item Storage" from the menu and grabbed a Hyper Potion from the storage. Then I walked back to the table and fell asleep.

"Haruka, wake up!" That voice sounded familiar. I opened my eyes to see a ten-year-old boy tugging on the sleeve of my jacket. "It's time to leave!"
I sat up. "Eh?"
"We're all waiting for you!" Kyouhei proceeded to try and drag me out of my chair. I'd have slapped him if he wasn't ten.
He bolted out of the Pokémon Center to the helicopter, moving too quickly for me to tail him without collapsing from fatigue. I used my last remaining bit of energy to hoist myself into the helicopter, then everything went fuzzy and I blacked out.

"Haruka? Are you all right?"
I opened my eyes. "Wha?"
"You passed out as soon as you got in the helicopter."
My vision cleared. Touko was sitting next to me, and I was slumped over in a chair. I stretched out a little. "I must not have slept enough last night."
"None of us did. Anyway, we're at the second rest stop now. Do you want to go in?"
"No. I think I'll just stay here and take a nap."
"Sounds good. You'll need one, too. We're still about 9,000 kilometers from Mt. Silver."
"Yeah," I said, yawning. "Later."
