This one's pretty long. At least in my notebook.

"Touko, hurry up!"

"Kyouhei, relax. I'm coming." I sighed and followed my brother into the rest taunt. By the time I got inside, he was already ordering dinner.

"Kyouhei!" I called across the restaurant.

"Yeah?" he said, turning around.

"Can you order for me?"

"What do you want?"

"Same thing I had for lunch."

"Okay." He turned back to the cashier.

I perused the tables looking for an ideal place to sit so I could finalize my letter to Cheren. Once I finished it up, I stuck the Mail in the envelope and walked outside past Kyouhei, who was trying to balance a huge tray of food. I grabbed the Carrier Pidove from my Bag and gave it the letter. "Take this to Cheren in Aspertia City, okay?" The Pidove nodded and flew out of my hands. I watched it until it was out of sight, then went back into the restaurant to join Kyouhei.

He was already sitting down and eating a hard-shelled taco. A journal was open next to him. I sat down and picked up my chicken sandwich. "What's the journal for?" I asked him.

"Extra credit," he replied, his mouth full. "I'm already passing, but I want an A+. Plus, I want something to give Mei when I get back."

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Of course. Mei."

Kyouhei's a senior at the Pokémon Trainer's School back home. Kids start school at age seven as freshmen. You know how you get challenged by School Kids? Most of them are freshmen. On the first day of freshman year, kids take a personality quiz and then are given a selection of Pokémon with similar personalities. I chose Solosis, and I still have its evolved form, Renuniclus. Kyouhei picked Litwick, but it's since evolved into Lampent. He also has a Riolu that he had to save because it was being beat up by a Stoutland.

There's also dances for the seniors- a Fall Dance, a Winter Dance, and a Spring Dance, and they are a Big Freaking Deal. Before Kyouhei knew he would be coming here with me, he asked this girl Mei to the Fall Dance. Unfortunately for them, Kyouhei got sent to Mt. Silver because his regular classes are way too easy for him, and there's absolutely no way he'll be home in time for the dance. Mei was really bummed out about this, but hey- there are still two more for them to go to together.

"Yep. She wanted to hear about every single thing that happened while I'm here."

"It's going to be interesting, I can assure you."

"Yeah." He took a big bite of taco. Then he picked up a large pouch of fries and handed it to me. "Here, this is yours."

"Thanks." I took it and shoved a few in my mouth. I looked at him eagerly wolfing down the taco He looked like such a promising little kid just then.

I hoped I hadn't made a mistake in bringing him.
