New didn't know how many times he has to pull Tawan away from a fight. Just as they thought of continuing the night at Tawan's place with a movie, his anger got the best of him again. "What is your problem?" Tawan threatens the passerby, his friends staring at the couple.
"Tay, let's just go." New tries to pull him away but Tawan pulls back his arm, walking towards the stranger.
"You're not going to say sorry?"
The stranger rolls his eye, "You're not even worth to deal with. Stupid gay."
New's eyes lit up, knowing that is going to happen next. Before he could stop Tawan, The taller boy punches the stranger's face, causing him to fall to the ground. Tawan repeatedly punch the stranger until a fist swings towards his face.
New pushes the offenders back, earning him the same fist to the face. Tawan quickly gets up and starts swinging his fist at all of them. New groans in pain and falls to the floor, Tawan covers him in his arms as the group assaulted them.
The pain against Tawan's back is nothing compared to New. It didn't take long for gang to stop and walk away before spitting onto Tawan.
Tawan can hear sobbing from the smaller boy in his arms. The pain on his skin didn't hurt as much as the one in his chest. He has never seen the boy sob. "New? Are you alright?"
"No!" New pushes Tawan away. "You always do this. Just as I thought we can finally have a peaceful night, you will always find a way to mess things up. I am sick and tired of pulling you away from petty fights."
"New." Tawan says softly. "I'm sorry. It won't happen again."
"You said that the last time!" New looks up from the ground to the boy, tears rolling down his face. "Now look at you. You're a mess. Your face need stitches and we're covered in blood. How many times do we have to go to the hospital before you can finally control your anger?"
Tawan reaches for New. "I promise it won't happen again." He reaches his hands towards New, only to get it slapped away. Tawan was taken aback by what New did. The pain in his chest expanded to a point that he couldn't feel the bruises and tears on his skin.
New rubs the water from his eyes, composing himself. "Come on. Let's get you to the hospital."
Krist looks at Singto weirdly. "What do you mean before going to mine? You're not getting anywhere near me or my room." He presses the floor below his.
"At least let me send you to the door." Singto begs. "I just want you to be safe that's all."
"I am safe." Krists shot back.
Singto reaches his hands toward Krist's face. The other boy backed away into the wall. Krist curses the lift for taking so long but before he could move, Singto's hand wipes an area of foundation below Krist's eyes, revealing the bruised skin. "This doesn't look like you've been safe."
Krist slaps Singto's hands away. "What do you want from me? I'm your senior. You're not supposed to disrespect me like this!"
"Is it bad that a junior is caring for a senior?" Singto shot back.
The lift rings and the door opens, revealing Singto's hallway to his dorm. "Get out." Krist scolds. Singto didn't budge but only stare intensely at the other boy, hoping that he would give in and let him do something simple as walking him to his door. "Get out!" Krist yells, pushing the boy out of the lift.
Singto tries to gain his balance after getting pushed out. Before he could run back into the lift, Krist closes the door, leaving the boy stranded. Singto curses. He didn't know what else he should have done to break through him.
