When the three boys got back to the camp fire, Prem offers them a beer each. "Here. It's not as much as last night but it should be enough to make you light weights drunk."

Singto accepts the bottle. He needs a drink. More than one. "Thank you, Prem."

The two boys return to their significant other, leaving Singto to his own thoughts.

"Prae, give me awhile. I wanna talk to my junior." Krist says as he stands up.

"Oh. Sure." Prae lets go of the older boy's arm. "I'll make a smore for you if you wanna."

"It's alright."

Krist walks around the flickering flame and plops down beside the boy. He nudges his side. "Hey. You alright?"

The nudge wakes Singto up from his thoughts. He didn't expect Krist to approach him. He thought that he'd spend the night with Prae, neglecting him. "Oh. Yeah. I'm fine."

"Oh? Then I must have met the wrong person then. Where is that cheeky boy?" Krist looks around, pretending to find someone else.

Singto's lips curls upward. "I'm right here." He says in a more enthusiastic tone than he wants to.

"Oh. There he is." Krist smiles at him. "But really, what's wrong?"

Singto takes in a deep breath, he was ready to let his feelings known to the boy. He know that he is taking a risk.

"Krist!" Prae calls him. "Your smores are ready!"

Krist looks at Prae. "Hold that thought." He says to the younger boy before heading towards to Prae. The two couple in the group watches Krist as he walks away from Singto. They could tell that the younger boy wants to break down with the look on his face.

New pulls away from Tawan's embrace. "Tay, I'll bring Singto back to the room. I don't think he wants to be around people now." He whispers to the boy. Tawan only nods in acknowledgement.

"Singto! I gotta go to the toilet. Can you accompany me?" New says out loud as he approaches the boy.

"Oh. Sure." Singto got up and dust the sand off his shorts. The two boys walk back to their room.

"Hey. I'd forget Krist." New says as their steps get slower. "He's greedy. He wants you and Prae all to himself."

"It's my fault." Singto admits. "I shouldn't have started anything with him. He's straight to begin with."

"A straight guy wouldn't be sleeping with you." New says. "Tay told me about it. You can't hide anything from him, trust me."

Singto forces out a laugh. "The best part was that he told me not to leave him. Now, I feel like he's the one leaving me."

"Oh. Then what are you going to do about it?"

"I promised him."

"You can't keep torturing yourself like this, Singto. It's not fair for you."

Singto knows it is unfair. He is completely aware of the situation. He hopes, he wishes the boy would change for him. He knows it would be a long shot but he would gladly try his bet on that small percentage.

"I know."

The night ended with Krist having more than five bottles of beer. He could feel his head getting light and Singto never came back to the campfire. They all returned to their own room and when Krist enters his room, he finds Singto already in bed with the duvet wrapped around him.

Krist made an irritated sound with his tongue and heads into the shower. He didn't expect Singto to be sleeping so early.

He got out of the shower and walks out, still dripping wet. He slips and fall, causing a loud thud that Singto shot up from the bed. "Krist?" He squints his eyes, adjusting to the darkness. He got out of bed and knees down to the boy. "How did you fall?"
