The Devil's Daughter

Have you ever seen yourself as inferior or different? Elub has felt this every single moment of her existence. Of course, being brought up by the devil, she couldn't exactly show her insecurities- or at least she was hesitant to.

Her eyes have always been a mystery to all the residents of the underworld- except her father of course. While all other demons and her siblings have bright red eyes, hers were blue. An orb like pale blue with streaks of white dancing about. She did have the pupil and iris. They were just the exact same color as her sclera making it seem as though she had none. Her sclera- her pale blue sclera although when she was mad, her eyes would be bright burning red inferno brighter than any eye in hell. It was bright enough to dimly light a room.

Another trait of Elub's- which her father has yet to discover about- is her hellhound form. If being compared to any one of her siblings, she was -without a doubt- bigger in size, and strength wise was an actual beast. Her siblings fur coats were a pale black with streaks of brown running down they're backs, whereas Elubs was a beautiful white. If she were to hide in snow you wouldn't detect her big form.

She was disrupted from her thought as someone knocked on her door.

Descending from her previous cross-legged floating position (which no one knew she could do), she situated herself on her bed. "You may enter," she called out, to even bothering to hide to annoyance in her voice.

In came Abaddon, her fathers first in command.

"Ab. May I be of assistance to you? Although I know you wouldn't be here if my father hadn't sent you. So what is the matter?"

"Your highness," he bowed, "Your father has sent me here to summon you, Elub."

"Abaddon, what have I told you about calling me 'princess,' and 'your highness?'"

"Not to do it, your highness." This he said with a smirk.

I smirked back, shaking my head with a light, breathy chuckle.

"I'll be right there."
