CHAPTER 1

"Woah easy girl you have already had four!" Matt Donovan said sparkling his bright blue eyes and chuckling placing a small glass of vodka on the bar table.

"I don't give a shit, it's the second to last day of holidays!" Elena Gilbert yelled over the loud music.

The mood in the Mystic Falls Grill was overwhelming. The music was blasting, the drinks were dissapearing and the lights were flashing. Elena was having the time of her life. Boys swarmed around her as she was the centre of attention. She always was, and thats how she liked it.

Elena leaned over the bar table and lightly kissed Matt on the check, letting her long chocolate brown her rested on his face. He looked right into her sweet brown eyes and smiled as she ran to join the rest of the party.

Boys and girls swarmed Elena talking to her and making her feel like the princess after her loss.

"Elena, I am so sorry for your loss" said a brunette girl giving a friendly smile.

As if she really cared. But Elena replied "Thanks, I am dealing with the loss of my parents quite well" she said looking at her feet.

"We are all here for you Elena, this party is your welcome back present!" the girl replied as she began dancing.

Even though Elena knew this party was for her losing her parents,  she found it another way to get her popluarity back. She already missed a month of school going to Radley, a mental hospital and now she finally felt like she recovered.

"YEAH!" the crowd of her many followers yelled as Elena climbed her way onto the bar table.

She through off her jumper and flug it out to the audience. The crowd went mental. The atmosphere was amazing. She was tipsy walking along the wood table as it creaked as she jumped. A couple of other girls joined her up on the table and the crowd went crazy.

"BEST NIGHT EVER!" Elena screamed letting herself crowd surf through the crowd. The crowd carried her across the room as she laughed and moved her body to the music,

The crowd placed her down and started jumping the music again. The floor seemed to be moving in Elena vision. Voices mixed with other voices and she felt sick. The room was spinning fast. Like being in a ride that was too fast to see clearly. Her muscles felt weak and her bones felt unsecure and fraile.

"Move" she said with her defeated voice as she began pushing people out the way. They hardley moved but when they saw her they obeyed.

She stumbled as she walked through the massive crowd. She found it lucky  the stability of the crowd partying all around her made her get to the bar faster then she had imagined. She finally made it to the bar and her eyes locked with Matt. Then she felt a crack, in a instant she feel to the floor. People gasped and the music stopped. People started rushing towards her and people started whispering.

"Matt" Elena said whimpering.

"Elena!" Matt said jumping over the bar table to grab her fraile body. "MOVE" he yelled to the people surronding Elena. 'It's just a panic attack guys, she just came back from Radley she is still recovering. Give her some slack and respect her fricken privacy!" He yelled and through his hands up in emphasize. The crowd all turned around and the music played and gave the two some space.

He started panicking and sweating. His eyes were full of fear. Not to mention hers, as tears wept from her eyes like rain running from pain. Matt rested his face agaisnt her check.

"Do you need..." Matt whispered softly to her ear.

"Yes" she replied softly letting her eyes close.
