Chapter 6

The sun rose and the alram clocks went wild. Everyone in the college was waking up and getting ready for the first day of college. 

"Ahhh" Elena said after a huge sip of Megans blood.

"What gruesome animal does she think attacked her neck?" Caroline said laughing crossing her arms.

"I told her it was a wild animal she had meet in the summer holidays when she went camping" Elena said wiping her face and repatching Megans bandage for her. 

"Go get ready" Elena compelled Megan. 

Megan walked into the kitchen to make herself some ceral. 

"Did you use all the hot water Caroline?!" Bonnie shouted as she bagged the door open and walked out the bathroom with a towel around her.

"The early bird gets the worm" Caroline said grinning at Bonnie. 

Bonnie threw a pillow from the couch at Caroline and went back into the bathroom. 

"Ow!" Caroline said falling back onto her bed. "This day is going to be amazing. Hopefully Tyler is in at least one of my classes. He has been rejecting me the whole holidays" Caroline said sighing and frowing.

"I know. Just be careful Caroline, he has been quite a douche to you lately. I'm up for kicking his ass!" Elena said pretending to claw something. 

"Elena!" Caroline said placing the pillow Bonnie through at her over her own face. "Agh" why are boys so annoying. Why can't they just tell you how they really feel?" Caroline said with such impatience in her tone. 

"Tell me about it, Matt hasn't called since the party" Elena said looking at her feet.

"Are you guys even together?" Caroline asked.

"I don't actually think so, we were in a thing. I doubt anything is going to happen though" Elena said wearily. 

"Yeah well don't worry about it, he will come around. Hurry up Bonnie!' Caroline yelled as she stood up from the bed and played with her hair in the mirror. 

"I'm coming" Bonnie exclaimed as she walked out the bathroom. 

The three girls and Megan all walked together to their first class, history. The amazingly boring subject of history. The hallway to the classroom was packed with people rushing to classes and dropping books. 

"Here" Caroline said smiling as if she were a tour guide. 

The three girls and Megan walked in the classroom together. The class was quite small and Bonnie liked it that way. Caroline thought there were no cute boys and Elena was confused because she asked to be in a class with lots of people. Whatever she thought as she looked at the seats. 

"Anytime now laddies" a tall man said guestring his hands to the free seats. He had brown short hair and looked quite young to be a teacher. 

Caroline turned around and was smitten. I take that back, maybe there are cute boys, Caroline thought. Then the dream was over as she saw the nametag. Mr. Alaric Saltzman

"Oh right, sorry! Mr... Saltzman" Elena said akwardly smiling with her perfect teeth. 

"Uh yes, thats me. I sound so old when you guys call me that. Class, just stick to Alaric!" Alaric said to his whole class winking flirtatiously.

The three girls giggled and took their seats in the middle row while Megan took a seat in the first. Classic geek style, Elena thought to herself. With Caroline on the seat to her left, and Bonnie on her right, this was going to awesome, Elena thought. 

"Umm sorry, you can't sit there" Alaric said walking towards Elenas seat with his no longer flirtly expression. 

"What, why?" Elena said not getting up from her seat.

"Thats were Stef..." Alaric began.

"It's okay you can sit there, i'll find somewhere else to sit" a starange well built mysterious boy said with a husky soft voice as walked past Elenas table not looking at her. 

"That's resolved then" Alaric smiled. 

Elena half heartly smiled back. Elena turned around to have a look at this mysterious boy who let her take his seat. Woah. Elena was blown away. The boy had dark brown hair that was styled perfectly, he had soft looking skin that made her feel like she was going to melt. He had bright green eyes that were attarctive when he smiled at her. He smiled at her! Elena thought to herself as she smiled back and turned to face the front. 

 Bonnie leaned over to Elena and whispered in her ear.

"Oh my gosh he's oh my gosh" she said with such a star struck expression on her face. 

"I was thinking the same thing" Elena replied half laughing. 

"Laddies, done with the chit chat?" Alaric said impatienly. 

"Sorry" Elena said giving a strong voice so he knew she was truly sorry. She needed to be in everybodies good books.

"Sorry I'm late" Matt said rushing into class not looking anyone in the eye as he look a free seat at the back which happened to be next to Stefan. 

"Late on the first day of college, good job" Alaric said clapping. 

"Yeh yeh" Matt said in his grumpy voice as he opened his text book. 

Elena turned around to look Matt in the eyes, but Matt looked at his textbook once their eyes met.

"Hey are we okay?" she asked half smiling. "I'm really sorry Matty it wont happen again. I was like half wasted."

"I guess we are..." Matt said still looking at his text book. 

"Elena!" Alaric said hitting a ruler on the desk making her turn back to the board in a milisecond. "Answer this question,  when did the Plauge hit England?" Alaric said with sterning eyes. 

"Um" Elena said looking confused as a dog and cat getting married.

"1348 sir" a strong husky voice came from the back of the room with a little chuckle.

"Thankyou Miss Gilbert" Alaric said rolling his eyes and facing the board.

Elena turned round to see who answered for her. 

Your welcome, the boy said mouthing the words so he wouldn't get caught. 

Thanks, Elena replied looking too lost in his eyes. 

"Elena" Caroline whispered and Elena flung around to the front again. 

"What" Elena replied with no sympathy.

"Thats Stefan Salvatore, I got the low down for you from your possey" Caroline said nodding and winking as Elena followed her gaze to see her own phone in Carolines hands. "Your welcome babe" Caroline said blowing a kiss to her.

"Thankyou I love you" Elena whispered back turning around to have just another glimpse.
