"Aldre! Please honey, come downstairs now. You'll be late at school!!" Sigaw ko mula sa ibaba. Sumilip ako mula sa hagdanan then I saw my bunso sitting on the stairs while her chin is resting in her both hands.
 
 
"Hey sweetie. Did I wake you up??" I asked her.

   
"No, I just woke up" Napangiti ako sa sobrang cute niya ng posisyon niya ngayon. Oh babe, I hope you can see this.

 
"Then why you're still up there?? Come to mommy" Umiling siya saakin, napakunot nuo ko. Ayaw niya na kay mommy???

 
"I'm waiting for Kuya"

 
"Why? Did he ask you to??" She cutely nodded at me. Daamn. She's really beautiful, nagmana talaga siya sa daddy niya. She's like a girl version of Hunter or should I say she really looks like Hailey.

 
"Yes..but I want to give you now a morning hug you know" Then she gave me her cutest sad face that we all love about her, especially when you see her pout lips. "But I promise kuya to wait for him here"

 
"Awww..." I don't know why I always admire my kids on their cuteness and closeness. Sobrang sweet nila sa isa't isa kaya sobrang swerte ko na magkasundong magkasundo sila. "Okay then, I'll wait for you at the kitchen. Careful on going downstairs okay??"

 
"Okay mommy." Damn Aly. I love you my princess.

 
Nakangiti akong bumalik sa kusina. Niligpit ko na lahat ng ginamit kong pangluto, tinabi ko na sa may sink. Mamaya ko na lang huhugasin yun kauwi ko ng bahay kahatid ko kay Aldre sa school. Malapit lang naman kasi school niya sa bahay namin then after that maliligo nako para pumasok sa trabaho.

 
Umupo nako sa upuan at tinignan cellphone ko ng magvibrate ito.

 
Napangiti ako ng makitang chat iyon galing kay Josh. I'm really glad na kahit malayo kami sa isa't isa, our deep friendship never end.

Kelan nga ulit uwi niyo ng pinas?? Ang kulit ni Lala, tanong ng tanong. Atat na atat na siyang makita sina Aldre at Aly.

Sa katapusan nga. Sabihin mo kay lala, malapit na lang. Next week na din yun.

      

Nawala ngiti ko ng magsink saakin na uuwi kami ng pinas nina Aldre at Aly ngayong pasko. This will be the first time na makakapunta silang dalawa duon. I'm not worried about them being there. I'm worried if--kaya ko na ba talaga?? It's been 6 years already and everything I left behind has changed. Especially, him. Am I ready to see him?? I actually don't know.

  
All I just know is everything we had before? Hindi na maibabalik yun, mananatali na lang silang alaala. Now that I have my kids and Hunter. I should be contended with that.

 

  

 
Napatingin ako sa may sala ng bahay namin, the picture frame that attach through the wall. Our family picture, the four of us. Then all my memories with my kids and Hunter came back. All the happiness, all the sad days, all the memories we'd share. That's keeping me strong.
