"I still think this is a bad idea, Cas." Jack lamented.
Castiel waved his thoughts off. "Don't worry, Jack. This is perfectly safe. Right, Rowena?"
The little red-headed witch looked up from her book, which was resting on a small square table, and smiled nervously. "Completely." She said, rolling the word out with her rich voice. Scottish people usually spoke informally and sounded funny, but Cas always thought she had a more regal sound than your average scot. Maybe it's because of how old she is.
Castiel smiled, patting Jack on the shoulder. "We're going to be fine." It was just three days since they left the bunker. The three of them were in an old abandoned house just half a mile away from where Michael's Angels were. The spell was all prepared, but Rowena was beginning to have second thoughts.
She took a deep breath. "Boys, won't there be warding there? You'd assume they'd expect something of the sort." Jack felt his stomach twist.
Cas licked his lips. "Could you help us?"
She frowned. "Help how?"
"Take us there and scratch the warding out."
"I don't know, Cassie." She sounded tired. "I've been through a lot for you Winchesters these past few years. I've had enough of sticking my neck out."
Cas rested his hands on her shoulders. "Please, Rowena. This is crucial if we want to stop them before they do something serious. Michael was going to torch their world—who knows what they'll do to ours? I just need you to scratch out the sigils and get us in."
She raised her eyebrows, challenging him. Unfortunately, she was no match for his puppy-dog eyes. Rowena sighed. "Oh, fine! You're lucky I have a soft spot for you, Angel." It was true. The Winchesters as a whole were Rowena's blind spots, but there was something a little different about Castiel. But sometimes Rowena has to stop herself from melting a little bit every time she saw him. It was nothing serious. It was probably more Jimmy's fault than his.
Cas smiled at her. "Thank you. I deeply appreciate it."
She rolled her eyes, trying not to ignore the little blush in her cheeks. "Now, let's get on with the spell. It's not super comfortable, but you'll learn to cope." She flipped a few pages and placed a few things in a fire that was burning inside a bowl. Each item turned the flame a different color, and it finally settled on bright red. She guided Jack and Cas together so that the two were holding hands. Inhaling deeply, Rowena began, "Insectum me facti sunt. Parvi et velox. Invisibilia ad oculum."
With her words, an intense flash of crimson light erupted from their chests. They both doubled over, moaning and feeling a deep ache in their stomachs. It was as if their insides were bubbling and spreading like ripples. Jack sank to his knees, still clutching Cas hands desperately. Rowena panicked as the room began to shake, the lights in their chest growing blindingly brighter. After a minute, everything stopped. The shaking stopped, the light was gone, and so were they.
Rowena looked around but could not spot them. "Boys?" She searched and searched until she felt something small gently touch her shoulder. There sat two little fleas standing side-by-side who seemed to be staring at Rowena.
"Oh, I hate bugs."

Sam Winchester thudded into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Dude, have you seen Cas and Jack?" He asked Dean, who was sitting at the table and sipping a mug of coffee.
Dean shook his head. "I talked on Saturday. They're still running 'errands'."
Sam nodded. "Fun." He took a seat across from Dean. "What are we gonna do?"
