Elsewhere Lucia had taken the small child she had rescued to the safety of her home. The child's hand was small and frail in Lucia's hand as the two stepped in front of the 2 story brick villa. The brick was a lovely hue of brown that stretched across the entire building,while brightly colored vines covered a bit of the house. The child Kai peered around them in an excited manner staring at the large garden the two had trekked through to get to the main doors. Immediately the large mahogany doors revealing 3 female maids who bowed before the two. "Welcome home Princess." While Lucia slipped off the shoes,while Kai immediately followed her example of taking off his damaged tennis shoes and placing them beside hers. The small boy was a very quick learner as he followed Lucia into the large dining hall. The room was vast with very high ceilings,covered with children with wings. The common depiction of angels. The angels covered the entire ceiling. Some of the laughing happily, while others just seemed to prance upon the painted canvas.

Kai stared up towards the ceiling in awe,his innocent emerald eyes blinking quickly as if struggling to take in every single detail. Lucia then beckoned the innocent child upstairs where a single maid with long flowing platinum blonde hair,curled to perfection in ringlets. The woman had flawless skin as if God himself crafted her,full lips,and serious azure eyes. Even though she was a maid the woman wore a simple yet elegant black and white uniform revealing herself to be the Head Maid. Also Schneizel's own private little snitch. "My lady,it seems you have bought a little trash home by accident." The woman sneered towards Kai who immediately gripped onto Lucia's leg tightly. As if pleading for her to make the bad woman go away. "If you are referring to the child,then you are trash Sarah." Lucia scowled as the woman now known as Sarah glared towards the child and Lucia. She was the Head Maid but never seemed to show Lucia the respect that she deserved. Especially since Lucia was a much higher class than her. This woman was the only one that Lucia had to throw the "As your Princess and wife of Schneizel" card at just for the stupid woman to listen. It was very,very annoying. "You brought an Eleven child into your husband's home,if he were here-" "Well he is not,and this is not just Schneizel's home it is MINE. And the child as well. He will be staying here for quite sometime so become accustomed to his presence. And treat the child with the upmost respect." Lucia declared as Sarah grumbled lowly before bowing her head slightly towards Lucia."As you wish,Princess."Sarah mocked before quickly leaving the hall,Lucia already knew that woman would contact Schneizel any moment now and that she would have to deal with the White Devil himself. Luckily he would be away for sometime. Schneizel had left for Brazil for negotiations, and would believed to be gone for at least a month. Which meant Lucia would have a month of pure freedom. And she needed it.

Lucia looked down to the child who continued to cling onto her for dear life. Before gently patting him on the head. "Its alright, the mean lady is gone now." She reassured him in a sweet tone causing Kai to break out a smile. His smile seemed to light up the entire mood and was contagious to Lucia who also smiled."Now,let's get you cleaned up."She said as Kai nodded towards her before being led upstairs to a very large room. It was well decorated and furnished with a full sized bed,mahogany dresser and desk. A large window which opened up to the viewing deck. And a closet filled to the brim with clothes fit for a child. In the closet a single maid stood carefully putting away a pair of pants before turning to Lucia. The maid smiled as she bowed her head respectfully,her long flowing auburn hair dancing in her face. Lucia smiled towards the maid as she ordered her to rise before adressing her. "Ayumi,I have a favor to ask." Lucia said as Ayumi's gaze landed on Kai as she couldn't help but to smile. "The favor is not necessary Princess. I understand." Ayumi said as she extended her hand for Kai's as he hesitantly took it. "Ayumi will take good care of you,okay Kai?" Lucia asked as Kai nodded before rushing over to Lucia hugging her legs with a surprising strong grip. "Arigato Okasan!" Kai told her happily before bounding out of the room with Ayumi. Okasan. The sweet little boy had called Lucia his mother. And she couldn't be more happier.

Lucia waited paciently in her room,she was happy that she did not have to share a room with Schneizel yet. Just the thought of it made her sick to her stomach. Sleeping in the same room let alone the same bed with a man she despised was more than she could handle. Lucia sighed lightly as she heard a knock sound on her door,she allowed the person to enter her room to reveal a now fully bathed Kai. Ayumi had appeared to have taken good care of him just like Lucia had promised him. Though without the dirt coating his face and body many of the bruises were now fully visable to all. Which made Lucia cringe. It was one of the many reasons she chose to take this boy in. No child should be subjected to any form of abuse,Britannian or not. A child was still a child in her eyes. Lucia put on a warm smile as Ayumi fixed Kai's shirt collar before he skipped happily to Lucia. "Someone is happy." Lucia commented as the boy seemed to beam with happiness and nodded saying that he had never worn such nice clothes before. And even asked if Lucia was sure about giving them to him. Lucia smiled towards the sweet boy before planting her lips sweetly on his forehead. Before taking Kai's small form into her arms embracing him ever so gently. "Im sure,sweetheart." She told him as Ayumi bowed towards the two before alerting Lucia that Schneizel was on the phone and wished to speak to her.

It was one of many things to come that Lucia had dreaded. But knew it had to be done. She nodded towards Ayumi telling her that she would be there momentarily. But not before ordering Ayumi to file paperwork for Kai. Including Adoption paperwork and Britannian Citizenship. "As you wish,My Lady." Ayumi said before leaving the room as Kai stared towards Lucia. "I get to stay,with you?" He asked in a hopeful tone as Lucia smiled towards Kai nodding "As long as you want Kai." She told him as Kai hugged her even tighter thanking her from the bottom of his heart. It was then that Lucia knew that with Kai,with her new ray of sunshine in her dreary world that she could bear her life with Schneizel. As long as she had her sweet little Kai. She could bear anything.
