"Are you gonna come in or continue to stand out there like an idiot?" Natsu asked sarcastically.

"I'm gonna come in," I answered, brushing off his insult, to happy to really care.

The moment you walk inside you could practically feel the happiness in the atmosphere. The same atmosphere you were used to when coming home to your mother reading in the library or coming back to Igneel after hunting. It brought a wave of nostalgia over you. You followed behind Natsu and Happy as they walked to the very noticeable bar.

"Hey Natsu, Happy! You guys finish your mission already?" A cheery white-haired girl greeted the duo.

"Natsu exploded the entire port!" Happy exclaimed.

"It wasn't the entire port, just the west side," Natsu mumbled as he sat down.

"Oh, Master's not gonna be happy about that," she chuckled, placing a hand on her cheek, "and who are you?"

"Lucy" I introduced myself.

"No last name?" She asked.

I shook my head, "Interesting, how about magic?"

"I'm a fire dragon slayer and a celestial wizard," I stated proudly.

"Two rare magics? That's pretty extraordinary," she praised, boosting my ego a little bit more.

"I thought you were just a dragon slayer?" Happy questioned.

"That's because I use and practice it more, while celestial is more like a 'come in clutch' kinda thing," I explained, "I try to summon them all a few times month though."

"So I assume your dragon went missing as well?" She asked.

"Yeah," I frowned, "but I'm gonna find him and when I do I'm gonna kick his scaly butt!"

Mira chuckled, "Nice to meet you, Lucy. I'm Mirajane Strauss but everyone calls me Mira."

"Wait do you mean Mirajane Strauss as in Mirajane the centerfold," I asked, stars in my eyes as I met yet another one of my idols.

"Yep!" She poked her tongue out, playfully striking a pose.

"Ah! I absolutely love you, you're so pretty," I fawned, shooting out compliments left and right.

"You're too kind," she waved me off, "were you planning on joining the guild or just passing by?"

"I wanted to join if that's ok," I spoke.

"Of course! We love getting new members," she stooped down to go into the cabinets.

"Speak for yourself," Natsu snorted, "there's enough idiots here already."

"Oh Natsu, you couldn't possibly mean that," Mira smiled, "now where and what color would you like your guild mark, Lucy?"

"Mmm," I tapped my finger on my chin, "you think I could get yellow to red on my left shoulder."

"Coming right up!" She pressed the stamp against my exposed shoulder, the skin under it tingling slightly before removing it.

A beautiful yellow to red ombre guild mark stayed in the place where the stamp moved from.

"It's so pretty," I fawned.

"The colors look perfect on you," Mira complimented, "Welcome to the guild!"

"Alright! A new member!" Some guild member shouted, "LET'S PARTY!"

Everyone cheered before Mira's name was being called from almost every part of the first floor. She gave me one more polite smile before walking off to go serve the rowdy guild, which was pretty surprising to me. Somehow, in the midst a brawl broke out between the members.
