~ Parade ~

After what Yeri heard from last night, she lost focus. She was thinking about him during the movie, during the night, during the day and during her training time. Even the coach was able to notice the visible change on her movements and aura.

Yeri was always happy and committed in training. So when training ended, the coach called Yeri to talk.

"Yeri-shi, are you okay? You seemed distracted today" The coach asked Yeri in a worried tone but only gain a smile from the younger. A fake smile. "I'm fine coach, sorry about today and I'll focus more" Yeri assure the coach in a kind tone.

She lied

"Oh okay, if anything bothers to you, I'm here okay" Yeri was glad that the coach was convinced by her words since she didn't want to be a burden. "See you tomorrow Yeri-shi" The coach continued before walking away from the ombre. Yeri quickly bow with a smile.

But then it disappeared when she saw him in the corner of her eyes.

Smiling and laughing with Jin An and some of their friends. Yeri rolled her eye in annoyance and walked towards her bag to leave. But before she could leave.

"Yeri!" It's him

She didn't how to react. Should she continue to walk? Should she tell him she knew? But she couldn't process everything as she heard footsteps getting closer to her. Until there was a hand on her shoulder.

"H-hey Jungkook" Yeri slowly turn around, showing him her smile. "How are you? We haven't talk in a while" She continued.

Jungkook thought something weird was going on but he ignored it.

"I've been fine, how are you?" He asked back. "Yeah I'm doing well ... so what do you want to say?"

"Uhmm oh yeah, I was asking if you would want to go to a Parade with me. It's happening later around 7pm" Jungkook asked while putting his hand on his nape because the atmosphere was awkward.

But Yeri knew something wasn't right

Jungkook never put his hand on his nape when he was nervouse or awkward, he usually fidget with his fingers. But, it has been a long time. Maybe he change.

He gave a fake cough, retracting back Yeri from her thoughts.

"Oh sorry, uhmm, I'm not sure" Yeri replied in an unsure tone. Should she trust him again?

"Come on Yeri, it will be fun, I promise" He assured he in a cute tone while showing his pinky finger. Yeri just chuckle at his cute movement because back then, he would always convince Yeri with his cute movements and Yeri always give in.

'He's still the same' Yeri thought.

"Ok fine" She sigh as she lost because those puppy eyes were staring right at her. But she forgot about the incident at last night when she made the decision.

Jungkook jumped in excitement and gave Yeri a quick hug before waving goodbye at her. Yeri was happy, she forgot how vulnerable Jungkook made her. She admits, being with the older made her happy ...

... when she forgets about the past.

The ombre just smiled and walk back to the dorm. Thats when she realize ...

"What the freak did I just do?!?!"
