Chapter VI

I get out of the hospital wing and walk straight to the slytherin common room. Jeremiah is sitting on the sofa waiting for me. As I step in I notice also Elodie is sitting there, reading a fat book. She looks up and notices me.

"Y/N!" She shouts and stands up.

It's evening and more slytherins are coming to the common room. Elodie hugs me quickly, then Jeremiah grabs our arms and starts pulling us out of the room.

"What are you doing?" Elodie asks.

"Yeah, what are you doing?" I ask.

"Shush" Jeremiah hisses.

When we're in a secret room that I didn't even know existed, Jeremiah finally starts talking.

"I think there's a reason why you have visions" he says making me roll my eyes. "Seriously, Y/N, why are you the least interested in this?"

I sigh. "I don't know, I don't want to know. Anything. If I could give the visions away, I would. But I cant. That's it, the end of the story, period."

Suddenly someone opens the door so quickly that we can't react fast enough. I almost get a heart attack but then I see it's just Cecil. She's wearing nothing but underwear and an old t-shirt.

" What's she doing here?!" Elodie screams.

"Shut up" I say putting my hand in front of her mouth. Jeremiah closes the door behind Cecil.

"I invited her" he says.

Elodie and I stare at him. She hits my hand and I move it away.

"Why?" Elodie murmurs.

The door opens again and a random gryffindor called Jacob walks in holding another gryffindor's hand, her name is, if I remember correctly, Alice. They're both 6th -years. This is one of the WTF moments I have when I'm with Jeremiah.

"Miah... What's this?" I ask him. He looks a little awkward.

"I've been thinking" he says. "About your visions."

"Well of course you have" I murmur and he pretends that he didn't hear it.

"Alright, explain please" Elodie says getting quite angry. I'm just confused.

Jeremiah clears his throat.

"Alright, everyone, listen up" he says as if it was possible not to listen. The room is very small, we barely fit in. Jeremiah continues.

"The daily prophet has reported that several witches and wizards have had scary visions lately. But you, Y/N, are the only one having so clear visions about something so specific-"

"I wouldn't say that they're clear-"

"-DON'T INTERRUPT ME PLEASE. Ahem. All the visions tell that a dark wizard is rising. With the power of the Elder Wand. And because of your visions, Y/N, we know who the dark wizard is and we also have a clue where the Elder wand could be."

" So you want the Elder wand? "I ask. Jeremiah suddenly seems very serious.

" No, not me. It would be useless if I had it. But you are the most powerful witch I know. You could use it. "

I think about that. Not many people have said that I'm powerful. Maybe they all assume that I know it already good enough myself. But the Elder wand? In my hands?

" There's only one problem" Elodie says slowly. "Harry Potter broke the Elder wand. Y/N saw it herself."

Jeremiah nods. "I know. But I think Y/N might be able to fix it. I mean, professor O'Connell collected the pieces, why would he do that if he didn't think so?"

"Why Y/N? Why not someone else?" Alice asks.

Jeremiah opens his mouth but i speak first. I'm tired of them talking about me like I wasn't in the same room.

"What would we need the Elder wand for? And why did you invite these filthy gryffindors here? We should obliviate Jacob and f*cking Alice immediately!"

Everybody stares at me like I had lost my mind.

"Who's Jacob?" Jacob asks.

"What?"

"It's Jackson" Cecil whispers in my ear.

"Oh. Sorry. Jackson."

"And I'm Alyssa, not Alice" says Alice, sorry I mean Alyssa.

"Ok, whatever I don't care about your names. Jeremiah, why did you invite them?" I'm pretty annoyed right now.

"Relax, Y/N. I invited them, because they have sometimes visions too. And they're my friends, therefore I trust them. We're going to need friends, that you can take as a fact."

I take a proper look at them. They both seem brave, smart and thirsty for adventure, but they look very innocent. Perfect. A little smile appears on my face.

" Yes, actually, I think they might be helpful."

Both Jackson and Alyssa smile like they've reached something big. Like they didn't think I would accept them.

I smile brighter.
