A roar of thunder had Sana shift awake. It was morning but the sky showed the opposite, for it was dark gray clouds that were covering the sun rays. Looking around, she started to feel panicked, for she didn't recognize the room she was in. Sana tried getting up but was restricted by a pair of arms pulling her back to the bed.
"A few.. more minutes please.." she heard a voice croak out. She turned over and found Jihyo with her arms wrapped around her torso. Her face was pressed up against her back as if she was pleading for her to stay. Sana didn't think she knew it was her that was in the bed. She turned around and looked at the sight upon her. "Jihyo," she said softly. The girl didn't move, so she tried calling her name again just to get the same reaction: nothing. Uncomfortably, Sana moved into her neck, becoming endorsed by the scent.
"Jihyo," she whispered, getting a groan from the girl. "Wake up, it's morning." The short-haired girl groaned again and went closer to Sana. "Make me~"
"Alright, this is weird," Sana exclaimed, instantly moving away from her grasp. She sighed heavily and folded her arms to her chest, going over to the window. "Oh— my god," Sana said. The streets were filled with water. Newspapers, bikes, and whatever you could think of was floating down the road. There was no way anyone could get out, meaning she was stuck with the one she hates until it clears.
"How is it outside?" Jihyo asked, her morning voice making an appearance. "Flooded. Completely. I don't know how I can get home."
"Call Momo or Mina. You can stay here if you want," the younger said, receiving a glance from Sana. She could see it in her eyes that she was really dreading to be here; her eyes were dark and her stance looked as if she was about to tackle her any minute. Instead, she walked towards the bed and grabbed her phone. "You sure?" she asked, not looking at Jihyo as she said it. "Yeah. Unless you feel like canoeing today." Sana laughed softly and said, "I'll pass."
She walked out, dialing Mina's number.
MN: "H..hello? What do you want, Sana?" a voice came from the phone. Sana chuckled lowly.
SN: "Good morning to you too, Mina."
MN: "Yeah, what..whatever. You still at Jihyo's?"
SN: "Mhm. I don't think I'll be able to make it back today. Tell Momo and Jeongie so they don't freak out."
MN: "Alright. Well, don't- hold on." She heard rustling in the background and a high-pitched groan come from somewhere. "As I was saying-"
SN: "Who was that?"
MN: "Who?"
SN: "That voice. In the background, who was that?"
MN: "Oh, Chaeyoung. And before you think anything weird, nothing happened. She had to sleep here since Nayeon decided to come over and sleep in the extra room."
SN: "Everyone's there?"
MN: "Yeah, except you two. Too bad you can't make it. As I was saying earlier, don't make too much of a fuss there, okay?"
SN: "Okay. Have fun then."
MN: "Likewise." She heard a slight giggle before Mina hung up the phone. She went back into the room where Jihyo was now sitting up, rubbing her eyes to try and wake up. As much as she disliked her, she had to admit: she looked cute with her hair like that; all rustled up and- no. She can't think like this. "You tell your friends?" she heard her ask, snapping her out of her thoughts.
