"Please, stop! You're hurting her!"

"'Oh, stop! You're hurting her!' Blah, blah. She's not whining."

"I said stop! She can't say anything because you're fucking choking her! Let Momo go!"

"Once you agree to be with me 'till our day of death, I will," a raspy voice said.

"Never!" She successfully snatched her friend from the monster standing before her and took off.

"Mark my words, Sana! I'll find you and you'll wish you didn't run away!" Distant beeping noises came from the air as the two Japanese girls ran back to their shared townhouse. To Mina.

———————————

The blonde awoke to her phone alarm going off. She lazily threw her arm over to the device, hitting the alarm and groaning as she did so. The girl laid back and massaged her temples due to her dream. What was that? Why did she appear again? She just hoped she didn't come back and was stuck in Japan. There was no way that she would be able to deal with her tantalizing again.

She came back to reality when she looked to find the rest of the bed to be vacant. Sana sighed as she got up and rummaged freely through her partner's closet. She had no right to do so but at this point, she had no other clothes to wear. Sana was dragged into the kitchen by the delicious aroma that surrounded the house. She walked slowly until she saw Jihyo, busying herself at the stoves and island with food.

Curious about what she would be eating, she propped her elbows on the marble top and placed her head in her hands as she looked at the younger. "What are you making exactly, Miss Park?" she asked, grinning as the girl glared at her.

"Well, there's vegetable omelets, tofu with seasoned soy sauce, rice cooked with red and black beans, radish kimchi, and some coleslaw. Sound appetizing?" The latter nodded as Jihyo plated the food and slid the dish over to her. "Hope you enjoy then," she replied, eating the food while Sana downed her. Her partner had some excellent cooking skills, to her surprise, and she really couldn't wait for any other meal she prepared. It was weird; lightening up to someone she once had such a hatred for. Was she changing?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the clanging of plates knocking into one another in the sink. Jihyo threw dishes into the dishwasher, motioning for Sana to slide her plate over so she could wash it.

Afterward, the two just sat in silence; Jihyo picked up a book and decided to flip through it to pass time. Sana threw herself onto the couch, disrupting her partner from the reading she was so into. "For real?", she asked, putting the book down. "What? Oh, my apologies for interrupting, my queen," the blonde retorted sarcastically while smirking to picking up her phone. "The internet still hasn't come back yet and the company said it should've been up by 3 this morning," the younger girl said, looking while Sana huffed. She flung her phone somewhere across the room as she grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

Again, the only noise that played through the house was the news reporter saying how the flooding walls have yet to be repaired and water levels might rise. She sighed as she felt the couch weight shift. "Can I ask you a question? If you'll let me, of course," she almost whispered. Sana hummed in response.

"What did you mean by that kiss yesterday? There's nothing against it, but I was just-" Sana held up her hand, signaling for her to stop. She had tried so hard to forget that moment and she, personally, didn't know why she did it in the first place. The moment felt right, and her gut had made her do something she internally had no control over; it was as if it was trying to tell her something that Sana couldn't understand. Maybe now she did with Jihyo bringing it back up. She didn't know. How could she? Is she- no. Frustrated, she sighed once more before opening her mouth again.
