"It's possible to drown yourself by drinking too much water, right?" Jihyo asked. Sana looked at her and laughed.

"I'm serious, like, can you do it?"

"Please don't tell me you're planning something, because I'll be really sad if you are," Sana pouted. The younger smiled and laid her hand over hers.

It was around 8 o'clock and the two traveled all around the city together for hours on end. They were driving around town, looking for a place to eat when the scent of ramen noodles flew through the air.

"Ramen," Jihyo said. Sana looked at her and then saw the restaurant. She smiled and turned the wheel into the parking spot next to the place. "Alright, let's go."

"Wait, actually?" she asked as the car pulled into the parking spot.

"Yah! Stop asking questions or you're paying," Sana laughed. "Who said I already wasn't?" Jihyo smiled as she closed the car door.

"Uh, me?" Sana locked her arm in hers as they entered the restaurant.

They sat down and ordered their food, talking about all the recent things that have happened in their lives. Momo was getting closer with Dahyun, and Nayeon kept raiding their house, according to Mina. Once the food arrived, they thanked the waiter and began eating. As they were talking, Sana felt chills run down her body. Was she being watched? She looked around and saw a dark figure glaring at her through the window, only for it to walk away after a few seconds.

"Sana?" Jihyo asked. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah.. yeah, um, I'm just gonna go to the bathroom real quick," she stated.

"Okay. Don't fall in," the younger smiled and blew Sana a super obnoxious kiss. Her cheeks flamed up as she made her way to the restroom.

She opened the door and quickly ran to the sinks, flushing water on her face. She looked in the mirror and tried to compose herself.

The squeak of the door opening instinctively made her look over in the mirror, and her eyes widened. Before she could say anything, her back was against the wall with long fingers enclosing around her neck. The hooded figure slowed it's breathing as it moved closer to her ear.

"You're trying to run from me, Sana," the figure whispered. Sana gripped onto its arm, trying to get it to loosen the grip, but it was no use. "Lets get one thing clear, I haven't been following you. Sana, I saw you, with that.. girl. At the carnival."

"A-And wh-what?" the blonde managed through choked words, feeling as if she could cry any moment. The figure raised its hand and took off its hood. Brown hair flowed down as they ran their hand through it, their eyes filled with hatred. The grip tightened around Sana's neck, grinning as they watched her try and breathe.

"You, are mine. Not hers, not anyone's. If you say anything about this, I'll be all you see for a while. Won't that be nice?"

"T-Tzuyu, I-" Sana started before she couldn't think of anymore words. The girl loosened her grip a little, but still held her firm up against the wall. "Have I made myself clear, Sana?" Tzuyu said, looking at her. The blonde could only nod.

She let her go and both returned to the sink as the door squeaked open behind them. Once they went into a stall, Sana went to dry her hands when she felt a hand on her waist.

"Don't break my rules again, darling. I'll know if you do," Tzuyu said quietly before leaving the bathroom. Sana stood for a minute longer before letting tears flow down her face. She sighed and washed her face once more, leaving the bathroom in a hurry. She saw her love smile her big smile, and her heart started to slow it's panicked beating.

"Did you actually fall in?" Jihyo asked once Sana sat down. "No, it was just packed in there," she lied. Jihyo, being the skeptical mom she is, didn't believe her, but chose not to say anything for the time being. "Okay. Go shower when we get home just in case you did," she smiled when Sana started laughing.

They finished up their ramen and paid the waiter, grabbing their stuff and walking towards the car. Sana looked across the street as they were walking to see Tzuyu in plain sight, looking at her. Through all the distance, Sana could feel the hate in her eyes burning into her like lasers. She intertwined her fingers with Jihyo and looked away, giving her hand a kiss. The younger smiled and hugged her, letting go of her hand when the car was close.

Sana opened the door and started the car, still feeling those eyes on her. She backed up and drove away, the feeling slowly drifting away behind her as well. Sana let out a deep sigh and looked at Jihyo, who was in return looking at her.

"Hi," Sana smiled. Jihyo took her hand in hers and kissed it. "Hi."

———————————

Jihyo opened the door and turned off the lights, making her way to the beautiful girl in her bed.

"Hurry, I'm tired and you're slow," Sana whined.

"My bad," Jihyo said, walking in slow motion to tease her. "Yah!" Sana threw a pillow at her and laughed when Jihyo caught it and jumped onto the bed with it. "I'm your pillow now," she grinned.

"My pillow is so cute," she showered the girl with kisses as Jihyo went and pulled Sana close to her. The two laid in silence, both enjoying the presence of each other.

"Sana?" Jihyo whispered against her head. "Yes~?" Sana replied, adding soft kisses to her neck. "Was the bathroom really packed today?"

The blonde stopped. She couldn't start crying after she told herself be strong. But she cares too much about Jihyo to let anything bad happen to her because of her. Sana's eyes started watering by the thought. Jihyo felt this and looked down at her, gently caressing her face.

"Sana, honey-"

"I'm sorry. I know I said I'd be strong but.. she was there." Jihyo's face contorted into concern.

"She was there, in the bathroom with me. For a small while until she left. She told me to follow her rules. I don't want to let myself down because I love you so much and I don't want anything bad happening to you because of me and-" a finger hovered over her lips as Jihyo pulled her into her chest. Her whispered hushes calmed Sana's erratic breathing until it returned to normal.

"Everything's okay, alright?" Jihyo ran her fingers through the blonde locks. "She's not here anymore, hm? You're safe."

The tears slowed from her eyes and she relaxed into Jihyo's chest. She wrapped her arm around her waist and held her tightly. A hand caressed her face, having Sana look up at the girl in front of her. The younger smiled and rested her head against hers, closing her eyes in the moment. "I won't let anything happen to you, Jihyo."

Jihyo laid her hand on her cheek, rubbing her thumb over the skin beneath it.

"I know," she smiled. Sana looked up at her love and kissed her, taking in the feeling of her lips against hers. Jihyo pulled away slowly, chuckling softly as she brang Sana in for a hug.

"I love you too, my shiba," Jihyo mumbled. Sana smiled, letting her words take her into darkness. The younger girl looked at her and gently kissed her forehead, sending them both off into a distant sleep.

"I'm in love with an angel. A pure, beautiful angel. An angel that is one of a kind. The one that I will always protect from her monster."
