Lacy
As I walked down the steps of his building, I angrily wiped the tears away before calling a number I knew could help me.
"Jason, are you there? I really need you right now." I sobbed down the line of the phone as walked down the bustling streets.
"Hey, baby girl, are you ok? Where are you?" He questioned in a soft voice.
I named the street I was on before hanging up the phone, knowing he was going to come.
In about fifteen minutes, his car pulled up beside, he had a large smile on his face.
"Come here darling." He told me as he opened the door and allowed me to jump into his arms.
"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" He asked and he patted my back and began to start the car.
So I explained everything to him.
My past, my present, everything that had happened since I last saw him.
By the end of my babbling, my eyes were bright red and puffy, my throat was sore from all the crying and I just wanted to curl up into a ball.
"Oh sweetie that stuff seems heavy. Look, we'll go to mine, get absolutely plastered and have the time of our lives, how does that sound?" He asked as he looked me in the eyes.
I wasn't going to tell him it was illegal. It wasn't the first time I'd drink illegally.
I nodded and smiled at him, rubbing my eyes as we pulled up to a large house.
"You own this?" I questioned.
"I don't personally, my parents do, but they're off on there travels around the world until sometime next year." Jason told me, a glum look coming over his face.
"You miss them?" I asked softly as we moved from the car and to the front door.
"Of course I do. But it also means I get to drink all the alcohol that they left behind to forget about them." He spoke with a smirk as he opened the door and ushered me inside with him.
He took my hand in his and dragged me to the very back if his house, picking a key up off the side he lead me down some stairs and into a cellar full of all the damn drinks you could think of.
They ranged from port to shots. From schnapps to wine. From lager to ales. Even ciders lined the walls.
"Take your fill. I'll get what I need aswell." He smirked across at me as he reached and took down some bourbon.
My hand quickly reached for two bottles of vodka and one large bottle of schnapps. Strawberry flavoured as well.
He and I walked up the stairs, arms full of liquor as we reached the top and closed the door behind us.
We walked into the living room and in seconds he had music blasting through the speakers.
"Invite some friends over if you'd like, maybe it'll be fun." He smirked and I knew just who to call.
I nodded at him before walking out the room and dialling Red's number.
"Hey Lace, haven't heard from you in a while." I could hear her coy smile through the phone.
"Are you ok keeping something from your brother?" I asked as I began to unscrew the cap off one of the Smirnoff vodkas.
"It depends."
"Well, I have a lot of alcohol here, and only one other person to drink it with." I smirked down the phone as I took a sip.
"What's the address?" She rushed out as you could hear some movement in the background.
I told her where I was and she agreed to be here in ten minutes, I then called up Damy.
"Hey, Damy, can you keep a secret from Ace?" I questioned him.
"For you, yes." You could hear his smile down the phone.
"I have a lot of alcohol and not enough people to drink it with. Want to come?" I asked, a copy smirk plastered across my face.
"Where are you?" He quizzed me.
I reeled the address off to him and he agreed to come claiming it would be a good way to start off as sibling.
I found that quite funny actually.
I quickly walked back into the room where Jason had the music blasting.
"I have one if my friends coming, and my brother!" I shouted across to him as I took another swig of the vodka. The substance creating a dry burn in the back of my throat.
Soon the other two had arrived, and were drinking of their own choice.
"Why didn't you tell me that you had a hot friend?" She asked as she eyed Jason like the last piece of chocolate from the chocolate bar.
"Go ahead, be my guest." I gave her a smirk as she walked over to him and started talking and flirting. Which he seemed to be enjoying.
"So, why you doing this?" Damien questioned as he gestured towards the almost empty bottle in my hand.
"Your 'bestie' is a dick, and I needed a break." I muttered as I downed the rest of the bottle and began to open the second seen as the alcohol hadn't affected me.
"Well my 'bestie' as you so kindly put it, was really happy when I spoke to him this morning. Apparently he had a date with you. So, what did he do in such a short time span to make you need a drink?" He pried.
"He made me talk about my past." I told him, chugging half the bottle.
"Well, that's never good is it? You need to give him a chance. If you guys are gonna work, which you are, you need to talk about your past, present and future." He told me, taking a sip of his own EPA. (English Pale Ale)
"When did you become smart?" I quizzed him.
"When I found out I had a second chance at being a big brother." He smiled at me.
We both chugged the rest of our drink before popping open another one, this time it was shots for me and raspberry gin for him.
As we spoke, I new deep down I had already forgiven Ace. It was just admitting that out loud.
To him.
