Lacy

3 years later

I shook slightly as I stood infront of the man I love.

His eyes shone with love as he stared at my long white dress.

My hair cascaded lightly down my shoulders. My eyes were the brightest green I had ever seen them. My skin radiated and glowed in the church.

The smile never left his face as he stood infront of all these people with me. He had my hands in his as he continued to stare into my eyes lovingly.

His body looked lean in the black tuxedo. His dark, black hair was gelled back and his features were just as sharp as ever.

"I do."

The words left his lips and they sounded just perfect.

"Do you, Lacy Greenstone, agree to take Ace Gomez as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked.

"I do." The words rolled perfectly from my lips.

"Then I now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

With those words said, Ace quickly grabbed the back of my head and smashed his lips to mine. I quickly pulled back after realizing that we were in front of our families and friends.

I grabbed his hand and began pulling him down the steps and back towards the door.

His lips found their way to my ear as he whispered sinful words, "Just wait until later."

I smirked to myself as I walked out of the building, still pulling my husband along.

I loved how that sounded.

Husband.

The world finally knew that he was mine and I was his.

My eyes were met with flashing lights and crowds of people as we exited the church. The paparazzi asking all kinds of questions.

'Are you pregnant?'
'What store did you get your dress from?'
'Who are you wearing?'

But we just kept walking.

My hands found their way to the handle of the sleek black limo. The cold metal brushing across my finger tips as I yanked the door open.

As soon as I stepped into the vehicle, warmth wrapped around my body.

I wrapped one arm across my stomach and kept my other hand in his.

Where is belonged.

We sat quietly, bright smiles on our faces as Ace played with the two rings on my finger.

I still remember the day that he proposed.

It seems like yesterday.

6 months earlier

I smiled as I walked down the peer. Ace had said that he needed a break from work and wanted to spend the day with me, so I agreed.

I leant my arms across the wooden sides of the peer, just staring out into the clear sea.

It looked amazing.

The bright, aqua water was splashing against the rocks, causing a white outline to appear.

The small fish that were brave enough swam in huddles near the edges. Their silver skin reflecting against the water.

It all looked so magical.

The thought crossed my mind that Ace had been even more quiet today. He had been acting strange the past few days and I was beginning to fear the worst.

Now would be the perfect time to ask him why he has been acting strange.

I mean... has he been cheating?
Maybe he doesnt want me anymore.

As I turned to look at him, all I was met with was his head slightly lower than mine.

He was down on one knee infront of me.

In his hands, he had a dazzling diamond ring perched in a red box with gold lining.

My hands flew to my mouth in an attempt to hold in the gasp that had already escaped my lips.

"Lacy Greenstone, over these past years, you have become my everything. You're my world. You are at the centre of my universe and I wouldn't have it any other way. They say that when you look at the person that you love, your pupils expand. Your pupils also expand to let more light in. You are literally the light to my life, Lacy. So, will you do me the honour, and make me the happiest man alive, and share my last name with me?"

Was the speech he gave as he leant in front of me.

All I could do was nod as silent tears streamed down my face.

A grin stretched on both our faces as he slid the ring down my ring finger on my left hand.

"I love you so much." He told me as he picked me up and span me.

"I love you too." I smiled as I placed kisses all over his face.

...
Present day

He continued to spin the new ring around my finger as he stared at me lovingly.

"You do know that I love you right? With everything I have?" He questioned suddenly.

"Of course, and I love you with my whole existence and more. I can't even express how much I love you baby." I smiled at him once again.

My cheeks were beginning to hurt from all the smiling.

Yet, who wouldn't smile if they just married their first and last love?

Yeah, we both have a history, but now we have a future.

Our future.

And this small child in my stomach, is apart of our future.

"Ace, I have to tell you something." I told him, nervously knotting my fingers together.

"Okay..." he replied as concern washed over his features.

"Ermm... eh..  I'm.. your... your going to be a father." I spoke with a sly smile on my face.

"Really?!?" He asked with a giddy smile on his face.

"Yeah." I nodded as tears of joy filled my eyes.

He placed his hand on my stomach and began to rub soft, circular patterns.

"I'm going to be a dad." He affirmed with a huge smile on his face.

"I love you Lacy Gomez."

"I love you Ace Gomez."
