Chapter 14

Jennie's POV

Lisa can be really insensitive. I don't know the reason to why she is like that. She's always been a mystery to me.

So interesting and different.

Sometimes she's really difficult.
I like a challenge though.

I know I can change moods very quickly. I guess you could say that I'm a challenge too.

But I know I can make Lisa fall for me.

I ate my ice cream and watched Jisoo munch on her chicken. "Jisoo Unnie?" I tried to get her attention.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Do you want to watch a movie with me?" That's was the code for "Can we talk, it's about something important."

"Yeah, let's go to your room." She said.

"Ok." We finished eating our midnight snack and headed to my room.

"What's wrong?" She asked as I grab my laptop and logged in to my Netflix account.

"Let's watch To All The Boys I've Loved Before." I clicked on the movie and turned the lights off. She sat on the bed next to me.

"It's about Lisa isn't' it?" She asked another question.

"Yeah." I answered plainly.

"My plan's not working. It worked for my crush in high school."

"Jennie, have you had your first kiss yet?" She continued with her questions.

"Well, no."

"Are you completely sure that you really like Lisa?" She asked.

"Jisoo unnie I think it's more than like."

She made an "O"shape with her mouth.

"My babies are growing up." Jisoo unnie whines.

"Jennie you're not in high school anymore. It's not going to be easy to make a person like Lisa fall in love."

"I know."

"We should go to sleep. It's getting late."

"Um yeah, we should."

Jisoo unnie stands up from my bed and walks to my door. "Good luck Jen." Then she proceeded to exit my room. I turn my laptop off. I decided to discontinue watching the movie because I'm too weary. We should be at the airport by 9:00 AM, since our flight was at 12:00 PM. It's always good to be 3 hours early if it's an international flight. That's what my manager always said.

I lay down on my bed and close my eyes.

I woke up to Jisoo unnie calling my name. "Jennie wake up or we're going to be late for our flight. Chaeyoung and Lisa are ready to go."

I jump up from my bed and rushed to the bathroom. I quickly wash my face and brushed my teeth. Then I rapidly sprinted into my room to get to my closet. I change into a white Channel t-shirt and put on a black Channel leather jacket, white Guess ripped skinny jeans, and a pair of black and white checkered vans.

I ran outside to meet my other members. "That's was quick." Chaeyoung said. "You look good." Lisa added. I felt my cheeks heat up. I hastily thanked her for the compliment. Then we split into two groups. Jisoo unnie and I inside one car. Chaeyoung and Lisa in the other.

It was only 5:00 AM. Not much traffic yet, but when the clock hits 6:00 AM the road will get busy. That is when everyone starts leaving for work. I like traveling at this time. It's peaceful and quiet. No cars honking their horns aggressively.

We arrived just on time at 8:59 AM. The security lines will be long. They always are on Saturdays. We got out of the car and waited for Chaeyoung and Lisa who were tailing behind us in the other vehicle.

Body guards were in the front of us, behind us, to the right and to the left. Flashes from the paparazzi's cameras were coming at us from all directions. Fans yelling and screaming our names.

I stare at Chaeyoung. She was getting close to my Lisa, a little too close. I rolled my eyes and pulled Jisoo unnie closer to me, which earned a chuckle from her. "You shouldn't be jealous. You aren't dating."

"I don't care Lisa is mine." Sadly I can't do anything about my situation because we are in a public setting. If this was back at the dormitory, I would have instantly divided them.

As we progressed through the airport, I observed Lisa's actions discreetly. We were finally able to locate the security line. They checked my passport and boarding pass. Before I could look up so I could proceed to get behind Jisoo unnie. I detected a presence from behind. It was Lisa and she was having trouble finding her boarding pass. I guess she forgot that she can't carry it herself anymore because she always loses it. I know it was in my purse. Digging through my bag, I am able to find it immediately.

"Lisa it's right here." She sighed from relief.

"Oh thanks unnie." I told her to stop doing that. I raised my eyebrow to make her remember.

"I mean thanks Jen." I gave her my gummy smile. She didn't have a reaction which makes my blood boil because she usually would always blush. Damn it what kind of mind game are you playing Lisa?

We made it through security. Now we have to get to our gate. Which was gate D-127. It is already 10:50 AM, so boarding must have already started.

I accidentally dropped my bag and had to stop to pick it up. Lisa saw that I was falling behind. So she waited for me to catch up to her. Then she grabbed my hand and said "I'm not leaving you behind."

"But what about Jisoo unnie and Chaeyoung?" I asked.

"They will be fine. Besides I like walking with you."

Lisa please stop making my heart beat fast. I feel attacked. We walked in silence, our hands intertwined. I wish we could sit together on the plane, but I have to sit next to Jisoo Unnie.

"There's our gate." She said and let go of my hand.

As soon as she did, I felt empty and cold. We stood in line for our boarding passes to be checked. I walked into the tube that connects the airport to the plane. The friendly flight attendants greeted us, then showed us our seats.

I put my belongings down and sat next to Jisoo unnie.
