Chapter 28

Lisa's POV

"Why is your heartbeat so loud?" Jennie groans while shifting on top of me, her head resting on my chest. "Because of you." I reply.

It's our second day in Thailand, we have a rest day so we're able to do what we want. It's 7:30 in the morning, here we are cuddling under the silk sheets. I wrap my arms around her, but before I could close my eyes I hear metal clanging outside the door. "WAKE UP HOES!!!!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!! IM FUCKING HUNGRY!!!!" Chaeng screams.

"CHAEYOUNG SHUT UP!!!" Jennie yells back.

"BUT IM HUNGRY!!!!" She argues back. I try to sit up but Jennie holds me down. "Lili nooo." She complains. "It's 7:30 anyway, and shouldn't you get ready? Aren't you and Jisoo unnie going shopping?" I asked.

"Yeah, but I wanna stay here with you."

I picked her up and put her on my back. "LISA PUT ME DOWN!!" She screams in my ear. I walk out of the bedroom, with her still on my back. Chaeyoung was looking through the fridge even though there was nothing but 2 water bottles inside. "This fridge smells like ramen." She said talking to herself. "Where is unnie?" I asked her. "Oh yeah probably suffering from a hangover. We celebrated last night and she had too much to drink. A light drinker that one." She said referring to Jisoo. "It was only one bottle of wine and we shared it. I drank at least three fourths of it." Chaeng continued. "Speak of the devil." She went to open the door. Unnie leans on the door frame. "I'm ready to go!" She said excitedly. "JENNIE!!!! LETS GO SHOPPING!!"

"Hangover?" I raised my eyebrow. "I swear that she was fully drunk last night." Chipmunk replies. "I was drunk, but as soon as I got to my hotel room I sobered up." Jisoo unnie adds. Jennie slides off my back not before quickly kissing my cheek, then heading off to her room to change. "What are you doing today Lisa?" Chaeng asks. "My mom invited me over for dinner, but before I go I'm going to go buy a bottle of wine as a gift. She said a friend from work will be there." I told her my plans.

"What about you?" I asked her. "Umm I'm going to eat street food."

"The whole day?" I knew it was possible for her to eat a large amount of food, but to eat all day? "Yup!" She exclaims, very giddily.

I knock on the black wooden door. It's quite big it costs about $5,000. The only reason I know is because I once kicked a soccer ball into the old door we had and I accidentally broke it. So we bought a new door and I was grounded from playing soccer with my friends for 3 months.

"Come in!" I heard my mom shout. I turned the door knob, she was busy in the kitchen. I handed her the bottle of wine. "Lisa this is expensive wine." She took it from me. "Well, do you want me to return it to the store?" I asked her turning around and taking the wine from her hand. "No it's ok."

"So who's this work friend of yours? Is it a she or a he or doesn't identify as either?"

"It's a he Lisa."

"Oh so your moving on that quickly?" I asked her. It made me sad that she could get over him so fast.

"No, I don't like him like that and your father used to know him." She crosses her arms.

"Enough about my love life. You've haven't had anyone since high school."

"Suureee." I said.

She raises her eyebrow at me.

"What? Don't tell you have someone? If it's not Jennie then I disapprove."

"What makes you think it's not Jennie?"
