CHAPTER ONE: HOME LATE

|~ Normal P.O.V. ~|

It was a sunny morning, and the 2 kudo's were walking hand in hand to school.

Shinichi was reading the newspaper with his cocky smirk as he read about the crime he solved the other day, while [Y/n] just held his hand and looked around the city as the other citizens when on about their morning.

[Y/n] was still in pre-school so she had to wear a baby blue coat with a yellow helmet. Under that she wore a white shirt and a pink skirt with black flats.

The walk was disrupted when something hit Shinichi in the back of the head.

" Look at you, acting like such a dork! " said the love interest of Shinichi Kudo ; Ran Mouri.

[Y/n] smiled to see Ran. Ran was very nice to [Y/n], even if they haven't known each other for that long but [Y/n] immediately liked her.

" Good morning Ran-Neechan! " [Y/n] smiled brightly to the teen. Ran completely ignored Shinichi in his state of pain from her bag and turned her attention to the pre-schooler.

" Hello [Y/n]-Chan~. " Ran gave a motherly smile.

" What are you mad about Ran? " Shinichi asked his childhood friend facing her direction.

" Oh nothing I'm not angry at all, that it's your fault can't get any work! " Ran huffed.

" What? Your dad still a detective? " Shinichi asked acting shocked. [Y/n] giggled at the two arguing. That was until Ran punched a pole.

Shinichi eyes widened in shock while [Y/n] looked at her with amazement.

" That's the captain of the karate team for you.. " Shinichi mumbled.

' Wow! I never seen someone do Karate in real life! I only seen it in action movies! ' [Y/n] thought to herself.

" Remember [Y/n], Dr. Agasa will be picking you up after school. I should be home by around 8:00. " Shinichi reminded in front of the gate of her school. [Y/n] simply nodded before walking in.

" Ok! Bye Itoko, Bye Ran-neechan! Have fun on your play date! " [Y/n] smiled before running off leaving the two teenagers blushing from when she said ' Play Date '. She was so innocent.

It was night time already and [Y/n] sat on the floor watching Anime. She currently watching Sailor Moon, one of her favorites.

She enjoyed how pretty girls, fight crime in mini skirts and heels.

[Y/n] then imagined Ran as a Superhero like Sailor Moon which resulted into her giggling.

[Y/n] always had a big imagination, and loved her ideas. She would usually share it with Shinichi but then she saddened when she thought back that he wasn't here.

She looked at the digital clock on the coffee table (cause she can't read a real clock).

' It's past 8:00 I think.. So where is he? ' [Y/n] thought to herself feeling a little worried.

F l a s h ! ⚡

She turned to the window to see it was storming outside. She widened her eyes in shock. She didn't like being in the house alone when its rainy.

What she didn't know that Shinichi was running down the street in a child's body...
