Mina's POV

It's been a week since that incident occurred. I have honestly been so paranoid about everything and everyone who's around me. I've also been spacing out a lot lately. I want to blame it all on those women, but I can't.

I don't even know why I'm getting so worked up about what happened a week ago. Also, I'm getting anxious to know who are the two new girls joining the team. I'll meet them tomorrow at around 5 pm. My coach said that as the captain of the team I should be the first one to greet them and talk about the rules and some basic information of the other members.

Next day...

I was supposed to be here 30 minutes ago. Damn it.

I've never been late in my entire life. Literally never.

I parked my Mini Cooper S next to a neat motorcycle and rushed to the elevator. For my luck, it was out of service, there was a sign informing something about cleaning. How do you even clean an elevator? Anyway, the gym is not as far from the parking lot so I started walking, more like running, towards it. Since it's weekend no one was inside so I could freely run through the empty hallways of this luxurious college. Then I passed next to the garden where flowers were silently blooming under the sun's touch. I can never get tired of admiring flowers, they are the pure reflection of life.

I once read a poem,The Rose, from Cristina Rossetti. It said "The lily has a smooth stalk, will never hurt your hand; but the rose upon her brier is lady of the land. There's sweetness in an apple tree, and profit in the corn; but lady of all beauty is a rose upon a thorn. When with moss and honey she tips her bending brier, and half unfolds her glowing heart, she sets the world on fire."

Flowers can't blossom without sunshine, humans can't live without love.

As I kept walking I saw a girl under the main tree. God, she was tall. her curly hair perfectly stopped right above her wrist, her skin gleamed beneath the sunlight, her presence transmitted a calming vibe but could also scare you if you don't know how to handle such existence. She reminds me of someone I know. Who is she?

I kept on walking until I got to the back door of the gym.

An angel.

I just saw an angel.

She is flying.

KA-BOOOM! The ball bounced to the floor and went directly to my face. Oh well. This is it. I stood still and waited for the pain to come, but ... I didn't sense anything.

I slowly and carefully tried to open my eyes in order to understand what has just occurred. The ball is right in front of me. Flying. WHAT THE HEEEEEE-

"Sorry, I almost ruined your dainty face." A voice echoed my ears. I've gone mad. I am definitely crazy. There's no way time can stop and a ball can top. Scientifically impossible.

"I meant no harm pretty lady." Then reality slapped me. Yep. Not a ball, not my mother, not a crazy boyfriend, not a professor. Reality. Time didn't stop and the ball wasn't speaking. Someone caught the ball before it hit me, the ball was covering that person's face, then the person spoke behind the ball. A woman.

She slowly lowered her hand and place the ball on the floor. Then she faced me.

Oh my.
