Admiration

 Mina's POV

Oh my. I am speechless. Who is this creature in front of me?

"You good?" I think she asked for the third time. I just can't seem to speak.

Her black eyes reflected the beauty of the night, holding thousands of souls yet hers can be nowhere to be found. They are looking through me. Those eyes contain such darkness. A different type of darkness, never seen before. A type of darkness that was not sinister. Sweet darkness. Her eyes were like a small portal to the underworld waiting for me to jump in and save her.

"I-I'm f-fine-e" Please Mina, behave.

"You must be Mina." How does she know my name and why is she not calling me unnie. She looks young.

"Oh, where are my manners. I'm Son Chaeyoung, you can call me Chaeyoung. Whatever you prefer is fine with me." Her hoarse voice pierced my ears.

"I'm Myoui Mina. The captain of the team." I'm doing my best to remain serene.

"Captain, huh?" Is she doubting me? "So, captain, how did you like my spike?" She is totally mocking me.

(Note: The 'spike' is referring to a play in volleyball)

"It was alright." I lied. That was the best spike I've ever witnessed.

"Guess I'll have to work harder to get you to say that I'm the best." Oh please but you already are.

"How did you catch the ball so fast? You were literally flying when I entered the gym and seconds later you were in front of me." I'm really curious. 

"Well, you can say I'm agile and have fast reflexes." That's not even possible.

"Is that so." I mumbled

"Are you perhaps doubting me?" Indeed I am doubting you Son Chaeyoung.

"No." Time to show my sassy side.

"How cute." WHAT?

"Excuse me?" did she just call me cute?

"You look cute when you lie, but I must warn you that I hate liars. So, be honest with me. I don't bite." How did she know I was lying and why is flirting with me.

"I'm not lying." Let's see if she can get me.

"Indeed you are Miss Myoui." Her voice turned soft. What a flirt.

"What a flirt." I cannot believe myself. I just met her and I'm already insulting her.

"I'm honored to know that I made your heart flutter, are you warm now?" You made my heart flutter from the instant I observed you. Wait, what did I just think?

"Cat caught your tongue, pretty lady?" I just realized I didn't say anything.

"As if" Keep it cool Mina.

"What position do you play captain?" She was not breaking eye contact with me. 

"I'm a setter." I responded quickly.

"I see." What is she seeing?

"You must be a spiker, which side do you play? Front right? left? Or outside right? left?" I mean I just witnessed the best spike. She must be one. I want to set to her. Toss the ball to our new ace.

"Actually I'm a libero" She smiled. She freaking smiled. "But thanks for the compliment, that just means you liked my spike." She showed her dimple. I want to pinch her cheeks. She looks so cute. She was looking really hot a minute ago. Now she looks like a cute little cub.

"Don't be sad. We can stay after practice and you can set to me." This girl seriously. Let's follow her game.

"Of course I'll stay with you after practice. Thanks, for curing my depression." How sarcastic Mina.

"Thank you, I'll enjoy your company." She smiled once more. More like smirked.

"So, where's the other girl?" I can't handle her cuteness so I'm just gonna change the topic.

"Bored of me already? That was harsh captain." She touched her chest in a dramatic way. I wish I was the one touching that. I laughed at her comment and she looked surprised. Did I look ugly? 

"You've got such a bright smile. Please smile more often captain. Smile for me." My face is red. I feel it. Why am I blushing at her comment?

"Do you go around flirting with strangers?" I wished she said I'm the only one.

"No, you're the only one." As expecte-. Did she ju-. 

"Enough with the flirting, let's talk about the team. Seriously, where is the other girl?" I'm trying to look away because my face looks as hot. I'm getting hot.

"I'm here." A different voice came from my back. I turned around and met the same girl that was under the tree a couple of minutes ago. Speaking of time, how long have I been spending with this little cub?

"How long have you been there?" Don't tell me she witnessed what I just went through.

"Since you got here." Darn! she watched me get flustered. "I saw you running so I assumed you were the captain, you were late Miss..?"

"Mina. Myoui Mina." Did I mention how tall she is?

"I'm Chou Tzuyu. Just call me Tzuyu." Her voice is deep but not as sexier as Chaeng's. Chaeng? My God. I've already given her two nicknames.

"Since both of you are here, let's talk about the rules and the other members." I then walked and sat down on the coach's seat.

I explained how things work in our team, talked about the other members, and gave them the schedules. These two girls are something else. They are extremely beautiful. However, my eyes never left the small girl. 

 I said my goodbyes and walked out. They said they'll stay longer since they wanted to play and get used to the new court. I really wanted to stay and watched them play, but I think I've had enough for the day. I don't want to have a heart attack because of such presences.

I made my way out of the college and went out of the elevator. Then drove off to my apartment.

Wasn't the elevator out of service?
