Jasmine's POV

The chapters before

"He looked me in the eyes and damn they were beautiful. I never looked at him like a possible boyfriend, but those eyes... They transmitted calmness and warm feeling. He lifted his right hand and put it on my left cheek and caressed it. Then he started to lean in and, without noticing, I did as well and our lips locked. In that magical environment, I guess it was inevitable."

We kissed a few times after and when we ran out of breath we put our foreheads against each other and stayed like that for a bit.  We pulled apart and looked deeply at each other's eyes with a small smile on our faces.

- Well, that was unexpected. - I said in a whisper, but still smiling.

- Yeah, it kind of was. - he says in a whisper too laughing a bit.

We both laughed at the awkward environment and guess what? It turned it even more awkward.

He took my hand and led me out of the ballroom. The night was a bit cold and I had left my jacket in the hotel. Jack noticed that and gave me his sweater.

-  Thank you, Jack. - I looked at him and smiled.

He just smiled and put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer to him. With this, I put my arm around his waist and we walked to the hotel.

At the hotel, after I took a shower and dress some leggings and Jack's sweater, I went to the balcony and sit, against the wall, next to Jack as I did the night before.

- So, I order dinner from room service for both of us. - Jack says with a smile.

- You did? - I asked, surprised.

- I did and I know that you're vegan, so I order a special plate for you.

- And the special plate is? - I asked, laughing at his proud face.

- Wait, I need to read the name from the paper they sent.

I looked at him with disapproval, I was playing of course.

- What? You didn't expect me to know the name at the tip of my tongue, did you? - he asked a bit worried.

- Jack, calm yourself. I'm playing with you. - I told him, laughing a little bit too loud.

- Ok, then. - he picked the paper and continued. - So, Madame Arkwright, your plate is BBQ Chickpea Cauliflower Flatbreads with Avocado Mash. - he said, handing me the plate proudly smiling.

- I'm impressed, Mister Gilinsky. - I said, picking the plate from is hands.

- Did I say that huge name right? - he asked, laughing.

-You did, Jack. - I said, smiling at him

After that magnificent dinner, ate at the hotel room's balcony, we stayed there for hours talking and drinking. Yes, Jack brought some drinks from the mini-refrigerator in his room. They hadn't that much alcohol, but my tolerance for it was almost none, so the minimal thing I was feeling funny.  For this, I decided that I would remain on the non-alcoholic drinks.

The night was getting colder and colder by the minute, so we moved inside, to my room. There was a small couch at the end of the bed, so we sit there and resumed our conversation. When we sat, I didn't notice that I was with Jack's arm around me. It felt so nice and natural.

We stayed where we were for the remaining time of night. We didn't check the time, because none of us cared about it as we were enjoying each others company. Eventually, after so much talking and some kissing here and there, we ended up falling asleep on the couch.
