"Jaemin! What's wrong? You're not yourself today." Haechan frowned.
"Yeah. Sorry! It's nothing, I guess i'm just tired maybe." Jaemin awkwardly laughed.
Haechan hesitantly nodded and went back to working.
Renjun knew he was lying. He had an idea of why Jaemin was acting this way.
"Hey, Jaemin." Renjun said and put his hand on Jaemin's shoulder.
"Yeah?"
"What's wrong?"
"What do you mean?" Jaemin asked.
"Cmon. I know what's up. Who said it?" Renjun asked.
"Huh? What do you mean? Who said what?"
"Who spoke about your parents?" Renjun.
"My parents? It has nothing to do with my parents.."
"Stop lying already Jaemin!"
"I'm not!"
"Yes. You. Are. Who spoke about your parents??"
Jaemin sighed, "Fine, you got me. Someone spoke about my parents but i'm not telling who. This person doesn't know about my parents and they happened to ask why my parents aren't owning the cafe. It was an accident and I know. But there's nothing to worry about, Renjun. I'm okay. You can stop worrying." Jaemin ruffled Renjun's hair.
"Hey! No ruffling!" Renjun rolled his eyes and did his best to fix his hair. "I'm not leaving until you tell me who."
"Fine then i'll leave." Jaemin chuckled.
"Aye aye aye this ain't funny." Renjun stopped Jaemin from leaving.
"Why do you want to know? They didn't intentionally harm me or anything. They didn't know." Jaemin turned around to face Renjun and crossed his arms.
"Well uh, I just wanna know so I'll make sure they won't do it again!"
"Fine. I'll tell you, but don't actually tell them. I don't think i'll be seeing them again anyways. Ok?" Jaemin said.
"No promises but okay."
"It was Jeno."
"Huh? When and why did y'all talk???" Renjun was beyond confused.
"Well, lets just say at like 11 PM yesterday, he came up to the roof of the building to 'clear his mind'." Jaemin said while doing the quotation hand gesture, "And he told me to leave him alone and i said that i owned this place and he asked why my parents weren't taking care of the place so i kinda panicked and just said goodnight and left."
Renjun nodded as he looked like he didn't know what to say.
"There you happy now? I told you it was nothing to worry about. I don't mind. I don't care. It affected me a little but it's really nothing to worry about."
"Ah. I kinda worried for nothing. Sorry. But thanks for spilling the tea." Renjun chuckled.
"What's up with people saying tea." Jaemin laughed. "Get back to work before I cut 20% of your monthly salary."
"Yes sir!" Renjun said and quickly returned to work.

There it was again. The sound of foot steps and creaking metal. That's what woke Jaemin up. Jaemin sat up and looked at the time.
He read '10:38 PM'.Again?? Why now..
Jaemin thought.
He slipped out of bed and quickly put his shoes on before opening the door to the stairs. He looked to his left and saw the same figure from yesterday, continuing to walk up the stairs."Hey!" Jaemin called out.
The figure stopped walking up the steps and turned around to face the boy who called him.
There was silence between them. The soft blowing wind rushing thought their hair."Hi." Jeno said after awhile.
Jaemin walked out and closed the door.
"I'm sorry for yesterday." Jaemin said.
"Yesterday? What about it?" Jeno said.
Jaemin closed his door and started to walk up the stairs and walked passed Jeno to sit near the edge of the building's rooftop. Jeno soon followed and sat near the boy, but left a big gap in-between them.
"For leaving you like that." Jaemin replied.
"It's good I guess."
"I'm guessing you don't know my name. It's Jaemin. Na Jaemin."
"Jaemin.." Jeno whispered to himself. He liked the way it sounded.
"Last name is is Lee." Jeno said.
"Lee Jeno." Jaemin said.
"Sorry if the question I asked offended you in anyway. Is that why you left?"
"Why do you care all of a sudden? You were so cold and mean yesterday."
"I don't. I don't care."
There was comfortable silence after that. They both could hear the sound of the trees leaves. Rustling and the scraping noises of the dried leaves being carried across the ground from the wind.
"Yeah. I left because of that question you asked. It didn't offend me or anything, sorry. It just surprised me." Jaemin said.
"Mind telling me why you were surprised?"
"Both my parents are gone. Long gone. To never come back to me ever again. I don't like the talk about my parents. I never talk about it. Yet here I am, telling a completely stranger." Jaemin chuckled as he forced himself to keep his emotions in.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Jeno said.
"No need worry. Don't spread my words, or you'll be the one who's dead."
"Noted."
Jeno felt guilty. He felt bad for the younger. He didn't know exactly why 'both his parents were long gone' but he didn't press further about it. He kinda regret asking, but it made him want to know about the younger more.
"I'll get going now. Stay for as long as you like. You're welcomed here anytime." Jaemin said and got up. "I trust you with my words. Don't let me down. Goodnight."
Before Jeno could reply, Jaemin was gone.
Jaemin didn't know what was up. The only person to really know what happened to his parents was Renjun. But now Jeno, who was basically a complete stranger, knows apart of his story. Something in Jaemin told him that he could trust Jeno. And something in him, hoped Jeno would keep coming back every night. On the rooftop.
