CHAPTER 19

"YO GUYS! I heard there's a haunted and old house 15 minutes from here! Can we all go? Please please please!?" Haechan asked.

It was a typical day. Jeno and Yeji at Na Bittersweet, and Haechan being the same ol annoying little brat. (Haha jk, we all love him.)

"No! I don't want to die!" Renjun argued.

"Cmon! It'll be fine! Your boyfriend will protect you. Right Jaemin?" Haechan asked.

"Right." Jaemin replied.

"I don't wanna go either! I think i'll stay behind.." Yeji said.

"Nah! Jeno will protect you! Right Jeno?" Haechan clapped his hands.

"Yes Haechan." Jeno rolled his eyes at the 'annoying little kid'.

"You too Mark! You're coming with me. I'll protect you because you're such a scaredy cat."

"What! I am not!" Mark yelled.

Jaemin slowly crept up behind Mark and scared him.

"AHHH!" Mark yelled.

"Haha! See! It's settled. We're leaving tonight."

It was currently 9 PM, and they were standing in front of the old and creepy house.

"Oh my god i think i'm gonna cry. I don't wanna go!" Renjun whispered and clung onto Jaemin.

"It's okay little one. It will be fine." Jaemin reassured.

They all carefully went in. Weirdly enough, there wasn't even a front door. It was just wide open.

"Oh cool! Look at that!" Haechan said and ran down the hallway.

"HAECHAN!" Renjun, Jeno, and Mark yelled and ran after Haechan.

"Oh my god Yeji, they all left us!" Jaemin said and stayed close to Yeji.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD A BAT!" Yeji yelled and ran.

"BAT!? OH HELL NO BITCH IM GOING." Jaemin said and ran off to some place.

It was really dark and Jaemin could hardly see. It was really quiet, but then he heard footsteps.

"Hello?" Jaemin called out.

"Uh hi?"

Jaemin gasped, "JENO! Thank god. Everyone left me and i was lowkey scared to death."

"Haha, same. I couldn't find anyone for at least 3 minutes. Kinda gave me the creeps."

Suddenly, a bunch of bats came out of the corner and flew away.

"OH SHIT I HATE BATS." Jaemin said and ran into Jeno's arms.

"You're afraid of bats?" Jeno asked.

"Uh.. Yeah..?" Jaemin said.

"Are you okay?"

"Well it depends. Are they gone?"

"Yes Jaemin they're gone."

"Oh thank god." Jaemin said but didn't let go of Jeno.

"Uh are you gonna-"

"Hey! There they are! Let's get out of here. All of this was pointless. Just a bunch of bats and bugs." Haechan yelled.

Jaemin let go of Jeno and everyone was standing in front of them.

"Uh, what were y'all doing?" Mark asked.

"Oh well Jaemi-"

"Forget about that! LETS JUST GO." Haechan said and figured his way out.

"Well... I guess we should get going." Jeno said.

"Yeah.." Jaemin replied.
