She looks at me with huge smile planted on her face “No, which poster?” I say cool, like I have no idea of what she’s talking about, even though I know exactly which poster she’s talking about. “Oh come on! Everyone has seen the poster for the party on friday, you know that party we’re finally allowed to go to…” she says and rolls her eyes after letting out a little laugh. Oh that was what’s going on, I’m not really that party type but i like hanging out with my friends, so i guess it’s fine. “Are you going with us?” she asks with a lot of hope shining in her eyes, making it really hard to say no. “Okay, but only if you help me getting my math done” I give her one of my serious looks, and she rolls her eyes again “math? you’re so boring” she says and laugh a little. I just keep staring at her “okay, okay fine… I’ll help you” she finally says “yay” I take a bite of my apple and keep the conversation going with the whole clique before next lesson starts again.
AFTER SCHOOL.
I’m lying in bed with my head solid plated in my pillow, thinking about the party. Why the hell did I agree to go with them? I mean maybe it’s fun and everything, but I haven’t heard good about the guy Brandon who throws the party or his group of friends. I could just be with my clique, but what if they wants to be together with that group of boys? Then I’m all alone… ughhhh... it’s way too much to think about right now. my phone is buzzing, and a notification shows up on my screen, it’s Talia or Taliana as her real name, but nobody calls her that and she prefer the name Talia way more. ‘Hey girl! I heard you’re going to the party at Brandon’s, on friday - Excited? I am! I just wanted to know, if you wanted to meet up with Soph and I an hour before at her house, and get ready?’
She’s also a part of our clique just like Sophia, Ethan, Michael, Jacob and Margo, we’ve been a little group since 1. grade. I don’t exactly remember how we got together, but I guess it just happened ‘cause none of us really fits in with all the others. Not because we’re much different, it has just always been that way. ‘yeah sure, sounds fun. What time?’
it’s already late, and I should have been doing homework now, but I just don’t really feel for it. The whole day has just been so much for me, there’s too many things to think about right now.
‘meet us at 7 pm, we’re leaving at 8” I turn off my phone and decide that it’s better to just get some sleep. It has been a long day.
IN THE MORNING.
I wake up and do my morning routine, but this time I decided to wear some black jeans and a cute top, I’m not taking any risks. What should I do with my hair today? maybe a ponytail or something. I take a second to think a little about it, before I decide to do braids. Cute and simple, just how I love it. I swing my bag over my shoulder, running down the stairs to grab some food, before going to school. I’m not gonna be late today, it’s gonna be a great day!
My mom already left, she’s probably taking an early guard at work. A little note is left on the fridge ‘Have a wonderful day Honey’ is written on it. Aww she’s always so sweet and caring to me, I love her so much. I take my keys and everything and goes towards the bus, like always.
Every day is almost the same, but I don’t know, this day just feels different. Maybe it’s just the weather, it feels like ages since I last saw the sun’s shiny face shown up on the blue sky.
‘I’m that kinda girl who doesn't say a word, who sits at the curb and waits for the world, but i’m about to break out, about to break out…’
Okay I’ve got 15 minutes before the first class, that should be enough time to prepare. I walk slowly to my class, while reading the book I should have finished yesterday. It’s a science fiction, soo boring! but i have to get done. I feel someone walking into me, and making me fall hard on the ground. “Oh, sorry” a boy's voice says and walks past me, he seems busy. “Thanks for the help!” I shout frustrated at him, like who does he think he is?...
