i like hanging out with you, even though you're rather shy and quiet at times. but i think it's adorable and funny.

remember when our other friends thought i was older than you because you're smaller than i am and always hide behind me when meeting new people? that felt nice, because i felt like i could protect you, like those soldiers in those fairytale books you always read. and you can be the p̶r̶i̶n̶c̶e̶s̶s̶  prince.

i really want to protect you from all the bad things in the world. whenever you get hurt, i feel so sad and angry, even though you tell me it's nothing i should be worrying about.

you make me very very very happy, and whenever we meet i'm always smiling so hard. you're so p̶r̶e̶t̶t̶y amazing, and probably the only person in the world i will allow to call me 'squirrel' b̶e̶c̶a̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶'̶r̶e̶ ̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶c̶u̶t̶e̶. 

anyway, the main reason that i am writing you this letter is because you told me you like it when i send you letters. and i've always been one who likes to write, since i think it makes me look more mature i guess :).
