Keeping a Promise

Esdeath P.o.v

It was morning, and I was getting out of the bathroom from the shower that I took.

I finished putting my pants and boot, and I put the shirt on. I was going to button up my shirt, until a crash happened behind me.

I took my rapier from the bed and aimed it. Once I saw the person that was behind me, I was a little surprised.

Y/n was on the floor holding his leg, his eyes were puffy, and he was a little dirty.

Esdeath: "What on earth are you doing here?" I started to lower my weapon.

He started to get up, but it was difficult for him. When I took a good look at his leg, it was broken on the knee area.

Y/n: "It's Seryu." I looked at him, and his eyes carried tears. "She... she killed..." His breating was uneven, and his tears came down. "She killed herself."

His body started to shake, until he couldn't stand no more, and fell. I dropped the rapier, and kneeled beside him while holding him.

I was disappointed that Seryu has died, but was saddened by the fact that Y/n was distraught. Seeing him like this is something I was expecting when we were training and he would ask for mercy. But now that I see it, my chest clenches with a small ache.

I pulled him towards me, and hugged him. He sobbed more, and hugged me back. Feeling his strong arms wrapping around me sent warmth through my body. Something that I've never felt in my life. This reactions or feelings were getting confusing of to why I was having them.

Najenda P.o.v

Najenda: "Where is he?" I asked at Mine and Tatsumi.

All the members of Night Raid were in the main room, including Bols because Tatsumi asked him to.

Tatsumi and Mine were reporting their mission last night, and they said that Y/n got to them in the last moment.

Tatsumi: "We don't know. After our confrontation, he screamed and left in crows with his broken leg."

Leone: "What do you mean broken leg and scream!!!???"

Chelsea: "You just said something about confrontation. Did he turned against us?"

Akame: "Where could he have gone?"

Lubbock: "Give them a break and let them speak." Everyone stayed quiet and surprised that Lubbock said something different. "Keep going man."

Tatsumi: "Mine and I had encountered with one of the Rakshasa Demons and with Seryu. A member of The Jaegers."

Bols: "Seryu? Is she ok?" We all looked at Tatsumi. He had the face of guilt and woe.

Mine: "The confrontation was between Y/n and Seryu. He tried to convince her to join us or to leave her ideals of 'justice', but it ended in a fight. She broke his leg."

Leone: "THEN WHERE IS THAT BITCH!!!??? I'LL KICK HER ASS FOR BREAKING HIS LEG!!!"

Najenda: "LEONE!!!" I scolded her.

Tatsumi: "She's gone." He looked at Bols. "She killed herself." Bols expression was sadness and worried.

Bols: "No."

Najenda: "I'm sorry for your loss." I said with pity.

Bols: "It's not me that you must worry, General." I was confused and looked at Tatsumi for answers.

Tatsumi: "Y/n and Seryu were pretty close. Her death caused him to cry and fly away from us."

Akame: "And you guys don't have any idea of where did he went?" They shook their heads.
