Flashback:

Y/n: "I need you to meet me at this location." He pointed a path on the map. It was a few miles away from the cemetery where he and Bols were going. "You and the others must be there, prepared. Just in case if things goes wrong."

We were in the living room of HQ, and Y/n was telling us about meeting at the place he was pointing if things got out of hand. Lubbock, Tatsumi, and Chelsea already left to Bols house. Bols and Y/n were also ready, but I didn't expected to see Y/n in a black suit.

Leone had a seductive stare towards him, Akame was flustered but still stared, Mine was fully red face and tried to look away every time she was caught staring, and my cheeks were warmer than usual and my heart skipped a beat. In smaller words, he was TOTALLY handsome.

Leone: "What do you mean prepared?"

Y/n: "With your weapons ready. Can I count on you guys with this?"

Mine: "What is it with you? After what happened with that chick, you started to give orders!"

Y/n: "Like I said, I'm fulfilling a promise that I've made to Bols. Today is a good day to do it."

Mine: "It still doesn't answer my question, idiot!"

Bulat: "You're hiding more than what you're saying. Don't you think it's best if we should know as well?" We all looked at him. He shook his head and sighed.

Y/n: "I need you to trust me on this one. It's all I'm asking."

After that, he convinced us to trust him, and he left HQ. Half an hour later, we went towards the place where Y/n told us to wait if things were going out of control.

I sighed and held the bridge of my nose. 'Why does he has to be so mysterious?' I asked myself with irritation.

Y/n has been secretive lately. Heading to the Capital with always the same excuse, spacing out when we have a morning meeting of what we have to do, and Leone taking his time during the night. It's quite irritating.

Mine: "Ugh, I can't believe that Y/n is giving order to his superiors and making us wait for something that he can handle."

Leone: "Oh come on, what happens if it's a surprise for all of us?"

Mine: "Please, he only thinks of himself and his head."

Leone: "Well, the HEAD I'm thinking is the best surprise he can give me all day, and I won't get tired of it."

Mine: "Can you stop thinking with your hormones for once in your life?"

Leone: "Aww, are you jealous that Y/n gives me more attention than you?"

Mine: "I-I don't n-need his attention to be happy!"

Leone: "Oh!~ So you finally came out of the bag.~ Sadly, Y/n wasn't here to hear it."

Najenda: "Enough!" I turned to them with an irritation. "If you girls want to fight for him, do it somewhere else. If not, stop it. It's getting in my nerves."

Mine: "S-Sorry boss." She started fidgeting her fingers.

Leone: "If you wanted to join the fight, you just had to say what was on your mind, boss." I glared at her. "I'm just saying, since you also like him." She shrugged. I felt my cheeks heating up.
